Really loved the deck profile! Just started getting into Vanguard, and I was immediately drawn to Granblue, as I love pirates and vampires, and mechanically, I love their mill/grave power, as it reminds me a lot of my favorite decks of other card games. This profile is really what settled the matter for me, though; Granblue, first clan and best clan! That being said, now that Flanger seems to have been banned, what would you recommend to replace him, or is the deck not viable without Flanger?

I don't play any of the decks you have showcased recently but I do find your deck profiles very informative. Well done.

I tried out your list for my shop challenge and the deck did pretty well despite only managing to beat narukami. My other matches were all nova grappler and gold paladin... I did not have alfie or scaredick at the time so I used a second basskirk and fourth nightmist instead. I'm still on the fence about scaredick because I just really do not like the card at all but I did put in a copy of alfie and he did pretty well in some test matches. Three copies of ship also seemed really cloggy and caused my hands to brick at severely crucial moments during the shop challenge so I cut ship down to two and put in a single copy of punching frangul. The deck runs a lot smoother now and I'm really enjoying the new additions to my favorite clan! Really looking forward to your premium deck list!

Very nice, but I would really like to have more basskirks. I feel like staying on cocytus too long is actually detrimental, and basskirk can make similar numbers with a crit without really risking deckout as much. Not really hot on the scaredick, really feels like a "win more" card to me. Also, I think more basskirks can reduce the kind of "oh shit gotta ride skull dragon" situations.

I'm not sold on the Whale tbh. I was honestly feeling pretty firm with the 1 Flanger tbh, but I may try the 2. I think no whale and 2 Basskirk to have an additional ride target would be nice though.

Great list man, I'll probably take Granblue through a tournament this weekend. I messed around with a half built version shortly after the release and Cocytus is amazing, love it! :P The deck definitely feels alot more fun to play now :)

Nice to see that granblue got some really awesome support gonna be buying the upgrades I want for my version of the cocytus build later this month.

during that shop challenge, other than the bermuda and some of the match ups where you had to grind a bit, what was your match ups like? I know granblue has some good matchups, but what are the decks to really look out for from your experience.

I am new to Vanguard. I have a Grand Blue deck I bought from my friend's friend and I have almost all those cards. There are two I don't have, but will get them in case. I need to learn combos of this deck.

I know this video is old but I have just recently gotten into vanguard and I love this deck profile! You have already gotten me started off good I picked up the aqua force structure deck and added some upgrades and picked up a box of mY glorious justice. I pulled some good granblue cards and I really like your profile is there a more updated version or a structure deck that I can pick up and get some play sets of these cards?

Nova grappler will have a field day with grand blue lol.its funny how he says this decks only problem is decking out. I have a nova build that focuses on shout for major draw support even decked out gold paliden and great nature in a tournament and almost Bermuda they dont even mill as much as grand blue so emagin what I can do to them lol.

Not to be a downer Solemn, but how consistently are you able to ride into a grade 1? I don't usually deviate from the beginner's chart, and I almost always have a grade 1 to ride.

This unit was introduced as a megacolony card named Brownie Jerk its skill can forced ur opponent to mill a top card of the deck but including with additional bonus along with its skill. Could this card actually become a new play style for megacolony

The other day in tournament i was forced to ride romario over romario because i didnt have a 2 Both times i put a 3 in soul The second time i rode it gave me a 2 First rode my boi cytus and called 4 being 2 skull dragons and 2 banshees I told my opponent i know im im behind but feel like it lmao

Ok I in no way doubt your skill mang. However, I don’t see this as the most broken thing in the format. It’s a very good deck overall, but it just doesn’t feel like an unkillable deck. I’m sure you understand my skepticism and I’m not saying it’s an awful build by any stretch of the imagination.
