Located at the bottom of Spruston Rd are the Granby, Bright, and Cassidy mines. These mines were worked between 1917 and 1953. The Granby Mine alone produced over 2.5 million tons of coal in its day and even had its own town.
Today, not much remains except for some ruins and massive tailing piles that contain more than 400 million kilograms of coal waste. The Granby mine was also responsible for more than a dozen accidents and deaths.
5 of these deaths were from gas suffocation.

Near the road at the end is a slope entrance and a few cave ins up over the hill as well.

Great finds out there. You found some I haven't but unless you have a new video coming up I found some out there you might have missed.

Oh yeah? I only have one more video coming up. The slopes you can’t access I don’t really document.

@@HalcyonGuitars it’s sort of private property, but there is nothing inherently dangerous about these mines.
