Arumba: You're the red number in the siege.

Arumba build more carts, your traders arent efficient cause you cant take enough stuff. Also in the clothing/shirt town make cloth/wool. And build more roads esp in Porto. Lastly watch/talk to Quill.

Btw when u are sieging, the red is ur number

you could trade from Porto to the new town via sea and be less vulnerable from bandits

The green number is the "being seized force, and the number that's the same color as your name is your forces. So when the green number you thought was yours started droppings super fast meant you were kicking ass, then you fled right before you won.

Watching him with the siege was the funniest thing ever. Don't worry Arumba we all have those moments! It is kinda silly how they switched the colors during the siege.

In sieging, you have the red numbers and the enemy has the green ones.

Arumba: In a siege your army number is red like your highlighted name. Also if a city or camp produces a military unit then it stops the siege to kill the unit.

U are red in siges and green in combat

+Arumba when you siege a city, outpost or start the fight you are the red number...

Really enjoying these videos and a new game. Hope you keep them up. Maybe restart soon with what you have learned about the military and salt/fish/trade.

PLEASE get rid of half the mercenaries you have now that you have pike men. No reason to have some many units vs the neutral city mayors imo

it seems to be a funny game. and you make it even more interesting. i hope this serie will run for a while and im looking forward to the releasedate so im able to try this one out myself. go arumba! !

Arumba has a great military strategy beat the enemy then before you win run away simply brilliant, it's like when in CK2 when NL surrendered after he won a war.

hey arumba, for your next ck2 sereis, could you do (with create a characeter) a heresy of catholic faith and try to overthrow the catholics?

The speed of the trader at 11:28 kind of destroyed the nice peaceful game.

Most of the trouble with bandits would've worked out if you'd researched more army types earlier on instead of rushing multipliers of production when you didn't need it. Also, maybe build barracks & inns in more towns? Madrid seems to be bouncing back and forth bc its the only supplier you're using for units. Also does anyone know if you can have more than one building squad? That seems more worthwhile than the one guy working on all the roads.

oh my god the lack of competency between massive number of YOUR troops and TINY amounts of enemy troops and the numbers representing them. SO. FRUSTRATING.

Arumba, you aren't actually making salt yet since you didn't upgrade that building. You need to make salt, meat, and clothing I think. Also, use your armies to clean out the area around you. Its got tons of things.

omg, always so close to finishing the siege. Then he retreats, letting them replenish. "the more people I put the stronger it is??" Yes arumba, that's what's happening...

Too many units in one towns area of supply mean you'll never be able to supply them. You'll have to disband some or wait if prosperity to go up.

That siege was painful, as others have pointed out.

I didn't like this game very much at the start; but starting to see some proper mid-game action has made me change opinion about it

i have watched 5 different lets play of this game and everyone does the same mistake of thinking the green number is their troops and their losings really badly. I can understand why, because normally green is friendly, but your name is right below it in red so your number would be the red, or do people just not see it at first glance?

I think you are the Red numbers as "Arumba" is in red on the battle ticker

oh for crying out loud, in Sieges the red number is yours and in Fights not every troop visually engages the enemy.

damnit! i need this game, like right now!

Every time you capture or construct a city make another trader and a road, use shipping routes, your numbers are in red when attacking cities given this knowledge you have far too many military units. I believe that military units consume food as well as gold so stationing them in struggling towns is a bad idea. You can cycle though traders on one of the screens.

I think you should look at trade soon. It might work best to have smaller overlapping trade routes rather than running everything through Madrid - some of your towns are getting pretty far from there. There might be some techs under infrastructure to help with your traders - maybe we could see some of the techs there next time you level up.

At least u can support 4 mercenaries now, better than the Turkish campaign

the combat in this was painful to watch...

should have put more skill points initially in infrastructure instead far too focussed on putting all his points in production , also didnt need to build bayonee just to produce salt and fish could have done that in porto or lisbon (disbanded pastries there and built fish or meat)

You might want to hire more traders. That way your trade routes will be much shorter and your cities will be supplied more often

You're out of supply range which makes the units much worse. Doesn't help that you only have the worst unit as well :p
