If I had a million dollars I would buy Kiva Koffehouse, seat in the front of it with coffee and muffin, looking at the vest panorama to the end of my life. It's not enough words in a dictionary to describe the beauty of that view. By the way ,great music for this fantastic video.
My favorite road ever. Utah is the most beautiful state in USA to me . I just got back a week ago from my seventh trip there. I'll go back for sure. Still a lot to see a lot to hike. I love your video. Thank you for posting.
Don't miss Kiva Café just after Head of the Rocks overlook. It's on the left with fantastic coffee, muffins, other sweets and I guess full meals too. The views from the patio are amazing and a good coffee is essential. Just did the drive 10 days ago. It was my fifth drive and I consider it the most beautiful drive in USA.
Always from Bryce to Torrey and later Moab. Moab always on the list because of Moab Music Festival. I would say going East is much more interesting because you can see a very vest Escalante Canyon from the top. I don't think it's the same impression going up. My favorite spots are Escalante Canyon and Calf Creek Falls area. Keep doing good work, I count on you because there're places I won't go as a single traveler.
utahdan231 Now that you mention, the descent from Head of the Rocks Overlook is absolutely breath-taking indeed! At the same time, however, I also felt like the eastbound drive was somewhat anti-climactic toward the end. After Boulder, it was quite a long meandering through a dense forest, which blocked most of the scenery. Have you ever stopped anywhere within this forest? Is there any interesting spot here?
CostasAthan's Onboard Videos The elevation varies a lot. In the beginning of the video, it is 7,600 feet (2,316 m). After that, somewhere in the middle of the video, in the city of Escalante, it is 5,820 feet (1,774 m). And then, you can see we are gaining elevation again, before hitting the 8% downgrade at the end of the video.
