Nice Video & Trailer. Wondering what your Trailer Brake Gain is set at ? Also what is your Tow Vehicle, Weight Distribution Hitch and do you use Sway Bar (s) ? Thank you !!
Thanks and thanks for watching and commenting. We appreciate it very much. Trailer brake gain is integrated into my truck. I've never had to adjust it. I just pay attention to how the vehicles react as I'm braking and adjust if needed. If I feel I'm not getting help from the trailer, I'll adjust more gain to the trailer. If I feel the trailer is pulling on the truck, I adjust less brake gain to the trailer. My tow vehicle has changed to a Ford f-250, diesel, crewcab, long bed, fx4, Lariat with airbags and no truck lift or deletes(yet). No anti-sway or wdh. I make sure my trailer is loaded 60/40 as I have been pulling for most of my life in my past occupations.I don't drive faster than 65 mph.
FYI never plug the power cord in when you have the camper plugged into your truck big no no once you plug into power the plug to the truck has power going to it.
