I don't know how a competitive single-player tower defense game had me this invested, but keep them coming. That ending had me on the edge of my seat with how close it was
@ihimmel93 Lmfao I fucking dare you to score even one point against either of these players. You could go a hundred rounds with them and you'd get curbstomped every time. Who the fuck sits at their computer commenting asinine shit like this on the coolest event this game's community has ever seen. Christ.
Super happy to have been a part of this while bringing home the win for MZK! GGs to Tskami and everyone else! Just ignore the accidental Schwarz pick in map three and look at the funny Mandra kill.
At that moment when Mandra, TWICE before I even noticed, I realized Ebenholz was truly one of the operators of all time. Good job, what a cool tournament!
if spiply won round 3 her title would've been revoked so good for her that she lost that tight match (used schwarz when she was banned). what a great event to throw I'm definitely interested in challengers #2 when that comes around next month. I actually enjoyed these 2 announcers the most out of all the ones vifer had on. they had good banter, commentary, knowledge and hype. kudos to everyone!
Shoutout to the casters! the hype's great Edit - The final map being MN-EX-8 is also so poetic. Ending with a kazimierz map, a map of PvP tournament theme story. *Chef kiss
This was a fun event to watch, the ban feature was a great thing to add so people can see operator that isn't OP/meta being used and see their potentials if they're being used right. Loking forward for Arknights Challengers 2 in the future
I didn't notice, the casters didn't notice, and the refs on discord didn't notice, at least until Tskami won and we all looked at the dms we were getting spammed with mid match from the other people who very much noticed. I was too focused on grabbing the right Gladiia skill since I'd messed that up in an earlier match and completely missed the Schwarz ban :P
@@wreath4668 it's ok don't let it get to you,we understand, also congrats 👏🎉,also I was hoping you'd win,I was really impressed by your skill and how you set everything up💪💯
It makes sense for speedruns due to his high DPH. He requires a lot of set-up and map knowledge, which is why he sucks. But these folks know what they’re doing.
dayum what a fight kudos to the peeps behind this, to the competitors, and the commentators as well this fight got me hanging on the edge of my seat 😘👌
Lol everyone thinking it's Carnelian when it's actually her sister Beeswax! Also that Schwarz ban mistake could have changed the tides of this match despite Spiply being the better player in the end
Hi! one of the casters here! Not an excuse from me, but we do have a couple things open on the screen to keep track of overall stream and pacing resulting in smaller operators/icons, but its definitely in my notes to do better on in future tournaments!
@@wookieejesus8319 no worries, it wasn't a critique to the casting which I actually enjoyed, I just find it funny! also the other player kept on banning Carnelian instead of Beeswax, and for experience if you just use her as a ranged tank she is superior to Carnelian because of her powerful health regen.
9:27 MZK Tskami Wins ( with 7 Ops quick start and she win ) [ 7-18 ] 16:14 MZK Spiply Wins ( Ebenholz the boss killer ) [ 9-19 ] 22:10 MZK Tskami Wins ( for a couple of seconds WOW ) [ R8-11 ] 29:04 MZK Spiply Wins ( fast picks ) [ WR - EX 8 ] 35:02 MZK Spiply Wins ( WHAT A MUCH BROOOOO GG ) [ MN - EX 8 ] FINAL SCORE: 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2 and 2-3 all the game she was behind but she never gave and that's the resaults well done for both of these players it was a magnificent match I think everyone of us enjoyed it ❤
I never expected that a tower defence eSports will be so exciting 🤩🤩 Every second of the tournament was so thrilling and I never knew eben do so much damage even though I have him. I hope HG makes this an official thing. It will be history in the making. And if the do we all will know where they got the inspiration from ❤❤
This tournament is very entertaining to watch. Great job for putting this together. Is there a way to leave a tip$? I don't see it as an option in comment.
In the R8-11 scenario Spiply used Schwarz while being banned, there was no serious problem since I did not win in that scenario, but if I had won it would affect too much :/
just my two cents, but would it be fair if both players pick their operators and run the stages the at the same time? because most of the time there is a higher chance the person who goes to the stage first wins due to their stage running first than the other player.
@@lain5782 yeah but that's still not fair. cause then what's the point of banning ops if you're just going to use the operator. plus it was a tournament. they should have either had to go back and repick their team or been disqualified.
Suggestion for future tournaments: 1) All tournament participants choose an operator to perma-ban throughout the entire tournament. 2) Banned operators should remain banned for this match. 3) Operator used by one player could not be used for that player for the rest of the match. This way can see more ban potential and unique strategy which up the difficulty.
What was Tskami even cooking on the last map? She had no boss killers set up to kill the top knight, was she expecting Rosmontis to solo him, or was she not even planning to spawn kill the bosses? Also the greed on Spiply activating Schwarz's skill too early. Thank god there was a backup eyja.
@@Puregold24karat That you are actually fighting against another player, there is actual contact between the two who are playing, here is just 2 players against cpu
