Hi Kim, love your review💗. We are considering this for a 3 night stay in December (thx for the tip on a room away from beach day party, I’m a soul survivor as well, and need my afternoon nap, lol... what I’m wondering is how does the beach feel whilst swimming? We swim in the ocean, not so much in a pool...and that’s truly one of the most important things for us....last year we stayed at the iberostar Quetzal- amazing Beach-clean-swimmable and fun jungle setting....it was just lack luster in the room/uncomfortable bed and the food was not very good...
They Hyatt wasn't all inclusive. Personally, the local restaurants are so good, I never book an all inclusive resort. Thanks so much for watching; make sure to subscribe.
@@TheAbundantTraveler hi! How was the seaweed in February? Currently looking at resorts to get married at in February. Do you have any recommendations for a family friendly resort for a wedding? Thanks!
The hotel is the least important consideration. As long as it is clean, has decent amenities and in a good location, I am content. After-all, travelling to a new and exciting place, is not about the hotel, it is about the destination and what it has to offer. If your hotel is the best thing about the trip, stay home. In some instances, the local food is terrible, so an all inclusive hotel might be a good idea. Cuba, in general, is in this category.
Another question. How much were extra fees at check it. Like security deposit? I know resort fee is $35 a night. How about security deposit and anything else? I keep reading bad reviews about that but no one is being specific. Thank you.
I was thinking about visiting the Playa del Carmen but I don’t know exact where to stay I been looking at hotels on RU-vid plus online these are my two choices I have far as looking at reviews and stuff any recommendations on better hotels than this I’m trying to stay within a budget These are hotels El Taj Oceanfront & Beachside Condo Hotel Thompson Beach House
Staying here for one night in may 2021. This place is dead on a Saturday night \Sunday morning. Granted it is covid times. There are more employees than guests from what I have seen. But one thing that is pretty much gone is the beach. It is entirely covered in seaweed and nobody is laying in the beach chairs or swimming in the nasty brown seaweed water. This makes for a quiet resort for sure
