Wow, that's awesome man. I might have to add this one to my list! Or maybe I wait for the Andaz/Park Hyatt... excited for that review one day! Great video as always 👊🏼
I did exactly what you did but in Tokyo. Transferred my chase points to Grand Hyatt Tokyo for the Grand Executive King Suite and Andaz Toranomon Hills Tokyo for twin beds. Looking forward to it~
I like it cause of it's location. Last time I stayed there I used their sauna/cold bath and it was amazing. I also do look forward to the Park Hyatt and Andaz.
Thanks for this amazing new video Max! 👍🏼 It will be so nice if you can do a video one day of your TOP 10 most luxurious hotels in the world that we can book with points (and a especially the ones where we can get the best value)! 💰🤩
I realized I missed that while editing the video🥲 it was raining the entire stay and going to checkout the outdoor pool didn’t cross my mind 🤦♂️. Thanks for the suggestion I’ll keep that in mind next time!
I really wasn't impressed with the GH but I went on 2021. The biggest advantage to it is TRULY the location. The Miramar had nicer room, and overall I think the Hi Lai in Kaohsiung was a much nicer stay. But that was my mileage. If it wasn't for the location, idk if it would be worth it.
Never stayed at GH Taipei b4. My 1st trip n only trip to Taipei I chose the Mandarin Oriental. Yes the room n suite does look a bit dated from your video. Glad to hear that the Park n Andaz is coming up.
Hey Max, could you make a video on the best way to redeem points on a flight from Tokyo to DFW. I’m having trouble finding anything on Japan airlines. I have Amex points. Thanks!!
I prefer Shangri-La hotels and resorts. Any tips on savings for Shangri-La? I used Amex green for 3x points on my last trip to the Philippines but would appreciate any tips.
Haha no I didn’t see any ghost. Not sure if there’s much truth to the stories of the hotel being haunted. The land the hotel sits on and a lot of other hotels in the area were used for military purposes , the Grand Hyatt just gets a lot more attention
It ís dated, over priced and what is known to some is that it is perceived haunted. Some Japanese story related to WW2. Lived in Taipei , stayed in the GH, but was never impressed. Wait for Park Hyatt
