Did you fish the rocks along the backside of the Island Caminada Bay? It looks like those rock on the Bay Side go on for a long ways from the bridge to Bayou Rigaud.
Hi Tommy, thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I lived in New Orleans for many years but live now in the Atlanta area. I still make my way down there about 3 times/year. Next time i go, i plan to bring a 10 ft long inflatable boat that has a 2 hp engine and 2 bench style fishing seats. Of the places you mentioned, it seems like a few of those are pretty close to the shore. With my set up, any recommendations you can make?
Hi Tommy, my wife and I are planning surf fishing grand isle this September. Is September usually a decent month to surf fish for redfish and speckled trout? Thanks in advance!
Best months in surf for trout is April May June. Should be lots of bulls in surf in September. Trout transfer to marshes in September but some stay on coast
