My husband is originally from Texas and is familiar with Buc-ee's. We live in Crossville and he asked me to stop and pick up brisket sandwiches for supper. They were amazing! My favorite part had to be the display of pet related merch. We have 9 cats and 2 dogs so there were quite a few items I wanted to take home but, unfortunately, couldn't afford. 😔
Buc-ees started with their first store in the county of my residence in Texas. They're fixing to build the largest store in Texas next year I believe. Thank God they don't sell Lottery tickets.
I think that when they build a new Buc-ees , it is generally larger than the previous one. However, need to consider logistics. Building one near an extremely tourist center plus GSM is an asset to build a very large one. I can’t see them not doing well.
I'm a new subscriber, watched several of your videos today. All of them have been very informative and entertaining. Yits kicked me to the curb, so I'm all in on your channel now!!
I have never been to Buc-ee's before. I live in Central Indiana. Seen a lot of these videos come out for this location today. Yours is the first one I am watching. My niece and her hubby live there.
I absolutely love Buc-ees! The first one I went to was in central Texas about 5 years ago and I was hooked! We’ve made special trips to the one in Melissa Texas (about 6 hours from where we live in Northwest Arkansas) just to get our fix lol! I’ve been watching this one being built for the last year while passing through on the way to Virginia from Arkansas. Can’t wait for my next trip through. Really cool how you were there to see the grand opening and ribbon cutting! Great video!
Thanks Mike! We love Buc-ee's too! It was so fun to be at the grand opening of the first one in TN with 2 of our kiddos! We had a lot of fun & look forward to the largest one opening down the road from us in Sevierville, TN! ~Ryan
I live around 30 miles from there in Kingston. My husband and I went there. It was crazy packed. I ordered a pound of brisket with no sauce and it was the best I have ever had.
I have never been to a Buc-ee’s or heard of it till the one in Richmond Ky opened but WOW what a store! You did an awesome job! Just a thank you too, for sharing your love of God, family, and the Smokies!!
Thanks Louise! God is so good to bless me with Brie & our 3 kiddos! I'll do my best to capture as many new adventures I can we do in The Smokies & beyond! ~Ryan
Thanks TTL! There are a lot of great content creators out there! I am VERY grateful to call The Smokies home & want to bring people as much as I can to their "home away from home" the best way I can! ~Ryan
Just went to this one for the first time ever yesterday on my way to Memphis. Needless to say, I spent 50$ at a gas station and it was worth every single penny.
Love your video of the first Buc-ee's in Tennessee. I saw you filming when we walked by. I told my parents ;" I bet that's a youtuber." It was cool to see ourselves on there. We came from Clinton/Powell Tennessee and had a great time.
I laughed so hard when you told your kids that the flux capacitor parts were on the back of the semi trailer, taking them into the central time zone. That’s hilarious. This was an awesome video showcasing all of the amazing offerings that back be found at Buc-ee’s.
@@AdventureIsOutThere lol - we're glad that you made it in time and were able to share this great video. We just missed you guys and visited/filmed shortly after the ribbon cuttin ceremony.
This is great. Hopefully travelers will go here for their rest breaks on the road and free up traffic at the truckstops. Truckers need every minute of time and the less traffic we face around truck stops the better.
We have a Bucees about an hour or so from where we live. It's in Warner Robins, Ga area. We always stop there on our way to Disney and Universal. We stop there on the way back home too. I love the dark chocolate covered almonds. I haven't had the brisket sandwich yet. I had the chopped pork bbq sandwich which was good. But it was actually too much for me to eat. I think every Bucees in every state are always packed with people.
I absolutely love Buc-ees!! They have cheaper gas prices, great food, very clean restrooms, everyone is very nice, fountain drinks under $1 (even the largest size), great variety of chips and candy, tasty bbq sauce and sandwiches, largest variety of jerky, delicious Kolaches, fresh baked cookies and pastries ... etc. Also try the potato chips made in the store! Delicious! I can't wait to visit the one in Sevierville, TN! Maybe I will see you there! Thank you for the video! GO VOLS !!! LOL
We have tried the chips last month at a FL Buc-ee’s, they were great! Our pleasure Blake! Perhaps see you in the Sevierville Buc-ee’s next year! I’m not really into college football, but love my Tampa bay BUCcanneers! Maybe that’s why I instantly liked the name BUC-ee’s 😁
I’ve never heard of this store. Unfortunately I live in California, we do have Bass pro shops, but I’d love to visit Buc-ee’s. Looks like a fun place to visit.
My daughter is excited about the exit 407 Buc-ee's. We're not far from that. We've never been to one but we've heard so much about them. Thanks for the tour!
They are adding a whole bunch of things down there. They are going to widen interstate drive from two lanes to five lanes (two lanes each direction and a turning lane). Rumors are we may get a Publix down that direction eventually
We just stopped at the Buc-ees on I-95 near Florence on the way back from vacation. It was a mad house in there and it was awesome!! Great brisket burritos!
Hi again Ryan... WOW --- WHAT A FUN PLACE Luv the branding and the adorable BUCKEE'S beaver Looks like your little ones luv'd the sandwiches Thank you so much for sharing the ribbon cutting, hope you always enjoy this store Have a fun evening Surie
Good to see y'all got one near y'all now, I like that one is close to my job here in Fort Worth. The sour gummy bears is where it's at, also the banana pudding it's awesome!
Just got back to Knoxville from Bucees Crossville. My favorite is that dang brisket sandwich. The smell, that smoked flavor, it’s SO GOOD. The pralines are also REALLY GOOD. They are a little different from Tennessee pralines but good in their own way
Went to buckees in St Augustine Fl and in Warner Robin's Ga huge store.. Bought items in the country section and bbq pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. Could have spent hours in there.
My wife and I are from Texas and we never pass up a Buckys we love Buc ee’s if I had the financial means to buy a franchise that would be the one I buy because you go buy one of them and it is always full. I love the concept of the store I love the gas pumps I Paul an RV and Buc ee’s is perfect because it’s so tall you never have to worry about anything when you’re getting fuel the parking lots are so big you can pull off to the side not bother anybody my wife loves the restrooms because you’re always so clean. So the people of Tennessee you’re about to really fall in love with a gas station 😂 just as we have
Worlds largest for now at 75,000. They just announced yesterday another will be built in Texas that will be 76,000 sq feet. An employee told us yesterday when we visited the Crossville location. Looked it up online later. I wish it would stay the record holder. That would look cool for Tennessee!
We saw you guys filming! Wish we could have met y'all today. We live 2 hours away in Chattanooga, TN. Hope to run into y'all at the Sevierville opening!
Don’t know why this showed up in my feed, must be something to do with me living about 15 miles down the road. Visited my first Buc-ees 2 summers ago in Georgia, and heard from some other locals that we were getting one here. I have watched this store being built from day one as I pass by there nearly everyday. Wasn’t there for the grand opening but did make it by there for the brisket later in the day. Favorite thing is the brisket by far.
@@AdventureIsOutThere Our family lived in Boyd's Creek, right outside of town about 12 years ago as I played drums at what was then called the Tennessee Shindig on the parkway. It is now the Biblical Times Theater.
We always go to Buc-ee's when we are in the area, mostly in TX. So excited that it will now be available in TN. We try to describe it to people who have never been there but it's really difficult. Now we have this video that we can share with them that really shows what Buc-ee's is like. Thanks!
Youre just up the road from me here in knoxville. I remember them excavating that 407 area about 10 yrs ago. It was meant to be another Turkey Creek area. However, the developer fell short of funding, or so i heard. Anyways, people really brag about this store for some reason, and ive never been to one, so i hope the drive was worth all the fuss. I'll just wait to see one in our own area, but it looks like a big grocery store and SUPER packed, so i'll also let that crowd die down for a few months. By the way, hope ya got the "God is good" tee. :)
It's worth going to if you have one along the way but I wouldn't go out of your way for it. Beaver nuggets are awesome especially the cinnamon flavored ones
They've come a long ways, I remember stopping at the 1st one he had back in the day on our way home from duck and goose hunting,,,, I love to see success happen for people in this stupid "woke" society.
Until our senator can prove she's preventing all threats both foreign and domestic then your opening is delayed. First amendment rights. Blessed are they who mourn. Active prohibit. No consent to rape. Unjust power. Jesus loves me.
They also refuse to hire anyone with tattoos.. just another cesspool corporation that didn't need to come here... I won't be going there ever. Nothing but a tourist trap.
Just went to this one for the first time ever yesterday on my way to Memphis. Needless to say, I spent 50$ at a gas station and it was worth every single penny.
I have stopped at several Buc-ee's when traveling. Every one of them has been an excellent experience. Clean bathrooms and good fresh food - LOTS of choices. SO much better than stopping at truck stops or random gas stations that are often nasty
Great video. Easily the best Smokys channel. I recently visited our Buc-ee's up here in Kentucky for the first time, but your video pointed out things that I didn't even know Buc-ee's had, so I'll have to pay closer attention on my next visit.
Wow, thanks Todd! The store is so huge there are easily things you can not even realize are there! We are looking forward to having one here in The Smokies next year!
If you travel back through Crossville make sure to visit the Crossville Model Railroad Club in the Outlet Mall behind Bucee's. The model train layouts are open to the public(free) Tuesday through Sunday from noon until 4pm.
Loved that we were the first in TN to get the first Bucee's. Loved the beef brisket. Moist and great barq sauce Great flavors on the ices. I tried Pina colada. Yum...lots of choices. Only thing was it was loud. Sound was bouncing Hopefully it it will calm down after the newness wears off. But we are big on supporting new stores that open in Crossville.
