That ghost train is great. The fact your in a cage means you can’t touch the props so they can get much closer to the riders! That definitely helps to make it more compact and scary too

There used to be a coaster at the back of the pier in an outside part. Only lasted a couple of years I believe. Can't remember when, I just remember being young enough to think "I can't wait to go on that when I'm older!"

Hey mate! Have to pop down to dreamland, margate soon! I heard there doing there best to re open the 39 meter drop tower! Just a few rides at the moments, although if you come at night you can go to a concert and get on some night rides!

excellent video Shawn from Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare! In this vlog, I head onto the pier and get back on some of the rides on offer, including one of the best Ghost Trains in the UK. Along with that I take a ride on the awesome Drop Tower and showcase everything else that the Grand Pier has to offer! I remember when I was younger I used to get a wristband to continually go on the helter-skelter. It was a lot of work getting to the top of that tho. So many stairs!! But I had lots and lots of fun. 😊

Wow !! Often considered a day trip to WSM but couldn't quite get myself to do it Until now !! Many thanks for drawing attention to this Super fun area and Pier. Who would have thought so much fun could be had inside there !? Wristband seems worth it if the Go Karts, Dodgems, Mini Golf and the Ghost train are included PLUS the other attractions. This was a "Monster" review !! Lol.

I went there not long ago it was like last week or 2 weeks ago I went to the grand pier in western super mare its was good

Visited this pier when it was reopened when I was on a family holiday. Got lost in the mirror maze 🤣

Went there the other week in the grand pier and on the waltzer

One thing worth noting, because the Go Karts are electric, they have a max weight of 19 Stone. Having got on without realising this back in 2011 I stuck on the ascents and had to come off. But the sign was there so I can't fault them.

There was a funfair in Tropicana Easter time.

Love a good pier but those prices are a little on the steep side for me. For a family of 4 it would be an expensive day out. Shame about El Toro & Mr Freeze!

I live only 20 minutes from the pier, I haven't been for a good few years so I'd love to visit again soon!

Great vlog Shaun! Weston was somewhere I visited many times growing up as a kid in the late 80's/ early 90's. The Grand Pier definitely sells the best toffee apples in the UK 🤤🤣

We live very close to Weston. Very much remember the Grand pier before the fire. It's the first time in fact that I have seen it since the fire. Like to have seen more rides in there.

Great video Also check on what events they have on as generally the night before the event they close and won’t open until after the event as they clear the amusements away so the stage audio and lighting can be set up then once finished it all gets packed up and loaded out on the same night and amusements go back in ready for the morning opening

We need more of them style of ghost trains in the uk!

Hi shawn looks a good place especially if it's wet outside. It's not as nice as Weymouth though dosent seem very much to do there . Ghost train looks OK but I think the one in Weymouth at Bowlaeze Cove was better . Nice vlog thanks for sharing with us. Love to you as always Tracey 💕 xxxx

I've never been, but whenever I hear Weston-super-Mare I think of Eddie and Richie from Bottom.

It's not the same since it was rebuilt after the big fire. No train to take you straight to the pier.charging to get on the pieri.

Great ghost train ride once again, very creepy and atmospheric. Perhaps you should launch a 3rd channel Shawn “Great Ghost Train Rides Of The World”. Weston SM Grand Pier does look pretty spectacular with lots to do and entertain. Nice part of the UK.

I went on the ghost train last year and got stuck for about 5 mins which made it alot scarier because we didnt know when it was gonna to start again and it was pitch black 😅🤣 but its a great ghost train !

The sea monster in Tropicana had a fantastic lazer and Drone display last week videos are on you tube attracted 1000s of people . Btw if you live locally you can get a free entry card to enter the pier

Hey this vlog was really interesting, I really enjoyed watching these, thank you for sharing your thoughts 💭 about your personal adventures and experiences including the ride prices have really increased £6 pounds for Gokarts £4and £6 pounds per person per ride and a £1 per person for the pier blimey Shawn that is extreme prices especially for the robotic arm ride which was a shame glad you had the other rides including the ghost train cage ride that must of been really claustrophobic looks like real fun with the props ay

If I was to compare this indoor park to babylon in Camden Weston super mare wins hands down

That "Robo Arm" wasn't running when I visited the pier back in 2011 not long long after it initially opened and in fact on every vlog I've seen on RU-vid from Western, its NEVER been working!!
