Looking forward to when they will be releasing the Grand Power K100 CO version as I have been interested in a polymer DA/SA with an optics ready slide. The CZ P01 & P07, Beretta PX4, and HK P30 are all great pistols, but don't have an optics ready slide from the factory. Looks like Grand Power will be filling a gap in the market by producing affordable DA/SA defense carry pistols.

Not sure I'm going to like the new series or price point they'll likely be at. So I'm buying up all the old mk12s while global still has them.

How do you compare the X-Cal to the K100 X-trim? Which you prefer?

What's your opinion of carrying a Grand Power? I hear the reliability isn't the greatest..I don't know if that's because of the rotating barrel or what.

Stay away from these Grand Powers. Ive owned 2 K100 Xtrims, xcalibur, Q1, Q100, P11. All of them have broke with little usage. Here are the broken spreadsheet: X-calibur- firing pin got lodged into the slide K100 X-Trim- hammer gets caught in double action, double action basically acts as decocker, send back 2x Q1- striker assembly broke, sent back twice Q100- Striker indicator broke off, have a new striker assembly in the mail P11: the exact same problem as Xtrim, hammer would get caught in double action, firing pin block fell out, firing pin tip broke off. All in 1 month, the gun has been away for repair longer fhan ive held it They also are unreliable, none will go through 1000 rounds without stovepiping, light primer strikes, etc. Headache, stay away
