I gotta say, as a lover of the Fifty Fathoms, I approve of the lumed sapphire bezel and domed crystal! GS finishing is outta this world, but I agree with you, I too wish they could get a crisp bezel action perfected someday! What a beauty, enjoy it brotha! 😎🍻👍

Hi there. Nice review. I own one of these and love it. It has screw links on the bracelet, not pins and collars. By the way, have you seen the new SBGE275 coming out in March? It's a spring drive version of the SBGJ237 with a white dial. It's sick! I have been to Little Treasury too and it's a great shop. Take care!

Absolutely stunning piece! The dial is very dark blue, but gorgeous if in sunlight. I did find it to wear a bit top heavy, and the clasp was too curved and stuck up on the bottom of my wrist. I do like the 4 micro-adjusts though, which isn’t common among GS models.

I have spent time with Grand Seiko also Rolex and Omega plus many more in my collection of almost 30 years, and I must say my favourite is the Grand Seiko for many reasons the main one being the quality, this said the brackets could benefit from an upgrade in quality but the meat on the bones is the spring drive movement and the finishing which is faultless in my humble opinion.

Thats a beauty. I will eventually end up with one.

Quite a big boy! Beautiful watch though. Only negative for me is the 21mm lug width. Apart from that take my money.....👍

So, lets get this straight. It's NOT a Milgauss. So, a part from that...WOW!!! That Seiko, hell, both of those Seikos are very nice pieces. You are a fortunate collector. For sure!!! Have a great weekend!!!
