How to nuke light ruins f14: 1. Obviously since it's a nuke you need to do enough damage so bring nukers that deal big damage or support the dps with res down, dmg up, or arts. 2. He has around 180% crit res meaning you need about 180% critrate to fully crit. Having letterbag on top of another 100% crit rate source like terra conjunction gives you 200% crit rate which is plenty. Though crit isn't completely necessary to nuke it makes it a lot easier. 3. Avoid his faint attacks that can stop your nuke. Either hit the first threshold to stop him before the faint attack or wait until after he does it to nuke. 4. Make sure your units are below 80% hp after your initial nuke because his threshold attack will kill any unit above 80% hp. 5. Once you have done your initial full nuke he will do his threshold arts mentioned in step 4. This does almost no damage and once he punches the ground he will disappear for a second then you will be able to hit him. 6. While you can hit him deal as much damage as you can before he gains s again. As long as you can get enough hits in you will be able to kill him and avoid his instant arts. If unable to nuke the easiest way to sustain it is with a taunt. Make sure your taunt tank is always covering your other units and don't heal them so their hp stays low. If you have a blesses on them they can survive the instant death arts ifrit does at around 30% hp then it's easy going from there with the rest of the arts only killing if you are above a certain hp which your taunt tank won't be above.
