Flashback 95.6 plays 1980s pop music, and is hosted by Toni.
It is aimed at people who are "stuck" in the 80s, and in between songs Toni reminisces about her hedonistic lifestyle during that time. Toni is also a DJ in two of GTAIII's prequels, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, both of which are set in the 1980s. The tracks on Flashback 95.6 are all taken from the soundtrack of the 1983 gangster film Scarface and all composed by Giorgio Moroder. Flashback is another of the Colombian Cartel's favorite radio stations. The DJ's name might also reference the film, with the protagonist named Tony Montana.

That first island vibe - from the music, the characters, the missions, to the streets you were travelling around - it was great. And Flash FM encapsualtes it for me. It was a revelation in computer games, and still the most memorable and cherished of the GTA series for me. The second and third islands were great too, but I always missed the first island. Perhaps it's because I was born in '81, but Flashback FM was always my big favourite of the radio stations.

Even as a 20 year old GTA III was hugely impressive and ground breaking, completely unique and my favourite of the series. I can only imagine it was even more impactful as a young teenager, a huge milestone in gaming (Mafia was a vaguely similar and hugely impressive game in its own right, which came a year later, another game I love. I think 3D games were really coming into their own in that very late 90s - early 2000s era).

Back when I was just a few years old I didn't know anything about English, however I really loved this studio. A while ago I decided to play the classics again. I started by playing GTA Vice City and I instantly fell back in love with Flash FM. I could hum all the songs first try eventhough I didn't understand any of the lyrics back when I was a child. After finishing GTA Vice City (And a crazy rush of nostalgia) I decided to give GTA 3 another try too and when I switched to Flash Back FM and heared Tony's voice, I became my happiest.

Laslow was the one behind creating all the radio stations of the GTA game series from GTA 3 all the way to GTA 5 , in my opinion the GTA 3 radio stations was Laslow's best work , my two favorite radio stations are Flashback FM and Chaterbox FM

This was my childhood/early teen years first getting a ps2 and exploring liberety city hours on end. I come to love all these songs . She's on fire was always my favorite for some reason. Gta 3 was a vibe ill never forget

Jeezz, the GTA III is now older than this music was when GTA III came out... In perspecitve, when GTA Vice City came out in 2002, 1986 (story setting of Vice City) was 16 years ago... now 2002 is 22 years ago... technicaly it means that game like Vice City today could be set in 2008..... fuck I'm old!!!!
