9:22 when music cuts....that the "investigation music", meaning you left the area where a clue you missed was. If you found all clues that music fades away. The abrupt cut is to tell the player they missed something basically.

I'll never tire of watching Mooney play this. Someone commented once that his Hitman commentary is really 47's voice in his head and I think that applies to Cole, too.

To answer your question about how to arrest chasing suspects, I believe that during foot chases you can aim at them and an empty circle will go around your crosshair. If you keep their aim on them long enough it will fill up and have Cole fire a warning shot. This will cause the suspect to surrender immediately. At least this is what happens to the foot chases on main cases. I don't know if this works during side quests.

Cole doesn't always have his gun out in the chases but there is one other way to catch the suspect, if you're able to get close enough to them a prompt will show up telling you to mash the A button (on a xbox controller) and you'll tackle them, but this doesn't work while they're climbing something as they'll kick you when you get too close

@@baconous689 I've only played it a bit myself as I only just bought it when it first went on sale some point last week, I've only just made homicide, but I've got a good memory for this kind of thing. Planing on staying ahead of mooney so I can solve the cases myself first

Aim your gun at the fleeing suspect. Just aim, don't shoot. When the reticle fills up, Cole will fire a warning shot and the suspect will stop. I commented this in a previous video too, but I guess it got buried under all the other comments.

This L.A Noire run is rapidly turning into my favourite series of yours. From the high effort titles and stylisation to your absolutely accurate redubbing of Phelp's interrogations, they've just all been consistently wonderful times so far.

Thanks for the spoiler warning! Not that I needed it for the spoilers (I've finished the game myself), but because it showed me that I apparently missed last week's episode! Edit: Also, idk if you're aware, but if you get into some major shootouts with your car near, like last episode, check the trunk. That's where the big guns are stored

Minor tip: the law over here in Freedomland says that if an emergency vehicle is behind you on the street with their siren on, you’re supposed to pull to the right side of the road to allow them to pass on the left. So, same thing here - if you’ve got your siren on in the game, the AI vehicles will always pull off to the right, so you should pass on their left. Only thought to mention it because of that small accident towards the end of the video. Thanks for the titters.

You CAN catch SOME of the street criminals (like the cosmic rays dude)… but the game is really unfair about it. You either legit have to catch up to him on foot, or know ahead of time where he’s going and take a shortcut to cut him off. Then you just punch him out and he’s arrested. Once he gets to the roof, it’s too late. Others… same story, gotta catch them before they climb. IF you’re allowed to use your gun, you can try firing a warning shot. But yeah I have no idea how you’re supposed to catch anyone on foot unless you know how to cut them off. Yet another aspect of this game that was just poorly designed. Always felt bummed out that I couldn’t be good enough to save them, since that’s CLEARLY an option.

YES! More LA Noire Mooney I love this! In the last case if you found the knife on your first go around Sabo will kill Lora. If you find the games telling you there’s still something at a location but you can’t find anything then go to the other locations and come back to it later. If you get Belasco to give Archer up by using evidence that they have the same address you can accuse her of knowing Belasco by stating that Cole never said his first name.
