I stopped playing about a month before the heists came out but I joined back about 6 months ago and I was amazed at how the game has changed since then
I will never forget it either there was a guy who work with me maybe twice who said he was so happy on if he had his microphone on he said he was so happy that he called in to work that day and that was the last thing I heard him say
forreal, I watch old GTA online letsplays a lot and most of the time they cheer for a measly 50k, nowadays you could literally grind contact missions for like 20 minutes and you'd get the exact same amount, if not more
@Howard the E Damn, I feel you, but today I have literally did the Pacific Standard in 1 hour, normally I would do this in 1 or 2 days, that's hard, but it's worth in the end
1) people lagging out 2) people dying while playing a heist 3) people lagging out when the heist/setup is almost finished 4) randoms won't plug in mic so terrible communication 5) getting the cops when the game tells you not to Some annoying stuff with heists
This update will always be a classic in my opinion, the others are factually and objectively more profitable, but it's hard to ignore a classic heist Especially when supposedly this update saved the game
As nice as these heists are... They surely are kinda outdated compared to... The one you can literally do by yourself and make $1M+ per take... why can't we do the older ones by ourselves or with only another person
because @@Mewtwo_150, in real life the tweak about scores is that they are made by a full team with roles assigned and a plan to follow, thats why heists are complicated to deal for the police and that's why living it on a movie or in this case, in a game, is so fun, el rubio heist mai be proffitable, but honestly is dogshit, classic heists or the casino heist are waaaaay cooler and better.

there are actualy 2 cut heists when this update came out 1# drug flip (I don't know what it's about) 2# money back guaranteed (steal from as many fleeca banks as possible within 10 min)

Well then, kiss goodbye to the hydra, new attack helicopter, apc, emplaced weapons for land vehicles and helicopters, flare gun, night vision goggles, aircraft carrier, yacht, cops n crooks, New weapons, New vehicles, New clothes, unique heist locations, heists that don't exclude players from the action. And when you are done being a pretentious shit, come back and appreciate the fact that all of this is free and would have never been included had heists not been delayed. This wasn't promised to you at launch, this is an evolution of what was originally planned.
Queen Elsa I agree, but we already knew that they made a hydra before release, and the hunter was in game in the movies and tv shows. You could think of it as content held back for dlc, but at least they're not charging for it.
Nobody high level wantz to play them, so after about an hour of waiting I always get stuck with low levels. And because of this, I have been playing the same humane labs raid for what feels like a year now.
Problems with heists: 1.) Incompetent players. 2.) 1 person dies, whole heist fails. 3.) Investing 3 hours into a heist, just as your about to complete the finale someone leaves. FUUUUUUUUUUUU.
lol do casino heist all preps are in freemode/invite only sessions and you can do all of them by yourself no need to wait for others. And at the end make sure to give the person no more than 25%.
Don't you guys just love how rockstar uses Lester to say exactly what they want to say to us consumers? "I know you were complaining.. but you weren't ready" as in.. every single gta v player in existence whined and bitched about heists not being there or coming too late.. love it.
I didnt whine. I waited. I didnt really care, i really enjoyed the game as it is. Hearing its coming VERY soon has me pumped. :D cant wait to work with my crew and friends to earn some big scores >:)

I remember when the heists came out. I was getting tired of the same old races, deathmatches, story missions and liquor store robbing.. I played them on my first playthrough from start to finish with 3 friends on hard difficulty (0 team lifes). And even amost 4 years later i have to say these heists where one of my funniest game experiences i‘ve ever had. Thats how co-op multiplayer have to feels like. Much better than doomsday where you almost just have to shoot your way through. These where well balanced with everything in it what makes gta so funny!
Gotta admit, it feels like a slap in the face for them to say "I know you've been complaining.... But you weren't ready...." Um no, we were ready on Day 1. It was Rockstar who wasn't "ready" over a year after the launch of the game. I don't care that it takes time. I don't care how much polish it is going to have. It doesn't give them the right to use such a crudely disguised, condescending quip over an advertised feature from the promotion and marketing of the game before it came out.

It fucking bugs me when I see people complaining about how long this took, and some of them going as far as to called Rockstar the worst game developers. Like seriously? They have released a fuckton of FREE DLC over the last year, as well as making the heists FREE too. Any other company would have charged 5$ each for these DLCs, yet people still goddamn complain. Be grateful this even came out after all the shit that they had to deal with because of those people.

Lol half of this wont be in the game. Air craft carries, jeeps with machine guns. None of this will be in free roam. Looks shitty and painfully long to complete.

Heists is okay but it get's really annoying when people leave in the middle of heist/heist setup and you are forced out of the whole mission. Please rockstar fix this
Theory for why it's coming in early 2015: PC version hasn't been released yet. They don't want to bother coding the same thing again when PC version releases. They release PC version along with heists, everyone's happy. Just hang in there.
This update really changed the game with how much money you could make and Although there’s better ways to make money now this update will always be the best in my eyes
Rockstar really does the best gameplay - movie-like trailers. The editing is superb and music choice. Love the end cut to title screen . So good. The editing is so good can't say that enough
Dear Rockstar, Not to be rude, but it would appear that it is five days till February right now and for some reason, Heists still don't seem to be out yet! I was wondering what you thought early meant because I understand it's too much to ask for a date in specific. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with what you've given us so far and and wouldn't lose any sleep if this is all we get, for free at least. But I know it takes very long to develop a DLC or just game content in Ringo general. But, if you're going to make a promise don't break it 17 times along the way. I know you can't give a certain release date because you would've managed to fuck it up somehow, someway. And instead of releasing another trailer why don't you just come out and say yeah we fucked it up and we can't release it for another two months to two years or so. Don't give us some filler or BS in between please for the love of God. Sincerely 90% of the GTA community and I.

This is the update that changed gta online forever, i still remember the hype for this, EVERYONE wanted Heists so badly! (is why R* threw in that Lester line at the start of the video haha) stayed up through the next morning waiting for the update to finish installing! before this it was Rooftop Rumble grinding 24/7 and because of these heists I made some very close online mates and we still game GTA Online hard till this day.
Why do people think it's so easy to create these? It takes time, and it probably takes a hell of a lot longer when assholes mess up the in-game economy. They can't be focusing on things like heists when people are cheating to get money, rp, etc. They may have said that heists would be out, but they probably had to change their schedule a bit because of these people.
LOL. You actually believe that's why heists took so long. It doesn't take the entire Rockstar team to make a few patches. In fact the game had been pretty stable since February. Yet here we have people just giving them excuses. It's not easy to create, but who cares how easy it is to create. It's their fucking job to do it. That's like buying a pair of shoes online then you find that the shoe laces weren't shipped. Then you say it's ok since the people at the factory worked so hard and don't return them. Then you see people online are complaining about the exact same shoe with the same issue. The company says since there were some lace thieves you won't be getting the laces till next year. Then they send out the laces and everyone acts like it's the best fucking shoe company ever. It's not ok what they did. If people collectively down voted this video maybe they'd realize that.
SolidJello The main point of heist to make more money then your regular missions... Gta 5 has been overruned by RP and money glitches-HACKS-etc.... 95 percent of the community is like this... Meaning Heist is useless now no point of bringing it up now with a FUUCKED UP economy... My theory is that it took them forever for heists because they were making an entire revamped game for new consoles. I think that wouldve taken some time and priority over heists..
Tim Dev they had several studios and at least 1,000 people that made the game. i don't think manpower was the issue. go look at IGN's article for rockstars eexplanation for the delay
I think I speak for every male and female when I say that, we need more clothes, cars and most importantly… hairstyles! It's pretty messed up that girls have long hairstyles in loading screens, but they're not available online! Guys should be able to have long hair too! A few more guns would be nice as well! I just hope RockstarGames sees this and adds a couple new stuff in for this DLC!
