And Dismemberment. GTA V was missing the gore that Red Dead Redemption 2 had. When I hit someone with a car going 90MpH i wanna see that npc EXPLODE like a deer you know what I mean?

I want less fucking kids on this game so I can enjoy it more with my fellow teen and adult gamers.

I was thinking the same thing Alan!! lol! A lot of people still don't seem to realize how dramatic the differences are between the two consoles, especially when it comes to the 13 STAND ALONE Teraflops of Ray Tracing on the 52 CU's running in real time thru DirectX12 Ultimate!!! The PS5 is going to be a great console but, the Series X is going to be absolutely INSANE!!!

@@spgreacts4507 Teraflops alone are not an indication of a more capable machine. While the Series X is a monster machine, I will admit that, you have to look closer at what Mark Cerny has done with PS5 and the efficiency of the ENTIRE system and the silicon. While PS5 is giving 10.1 TFs opposed to Xbox's 12TFs, the work Sony has done and more specifically how they've implemented that new SSD (which has more than double the raw throughput of the Series X's), you can see they've designed it with the developer in mind. The SSD is going to allow developers to stream in assets at an unreal speed and while ray tracing has been confirmed, the fact that the PS5's GPU will be mapped to run optimally with the SSD, I would say the day tracing capabilities of the PS5 will be exceptional. Running fewer CUs than the Series X but at a higher clock speed (2.23ghz) will be more efficient for performance and will generate less heat. Some developers have already said the way Microsoft has split the speed of the GDDR6 memory is a problem as developers will want to utilise the faster memory (560gb/s) as opposed to the slower memory (330gb/s) but will be forced to split usage as only 6GB of the Series X memory is running at the higher speed. PS5 maintaining a constant 448gb/s across the entire pool of memory is, again, more efficient and easier to utilise. Just the other day there were leaked tenders of PS5's revolutionary cooling method and heatsink they're putting in the PS5 to ensure it is maintaining optimal clock speeds, etc. Worth a read. As I say, not taking away from Microsoft's machine as it is incredible; however, Mark Cerny certainly has some tricks up his sleeve with the PS5.

First off, I never said anything about Tflops being the end all be all in determining a greater console, I was merely referring to the amount of equivalent Tflop power in the form of ray tracing. And I assure you that there's nothing you can teach me about the PS5 good sir, I've done my research, extensively!! And faster clocks create much more heat than additional CU's unless the number of CU's was FAR GREATER!!! Please stop with the dev talk... The split in memory bandwidth is 10 GB @560 GB\s and 6 GB @336 GB\s, the 6 GB is for system functions and the 10 GBs of the FASTER memory is for the games which is more than enough! Remember, Sony has a portion of their memory partitioned for system functions as well, they just have an even bandwidth which is MUCH slower the Series X's!! The only hardware advantage the PS5 has is the data transfer rates from their very impressive flash controller which MS is using brilliant software integration to compete with that, and yes, their cooling solution is pretty remarkable but I already knew it would need to be with clock speeds like that... If I could only get one, it would be the Series X all day, but I'm getting both because I've always loved Sony's product, owned every single one!! It's good to be a gamer!!!

These are gaming machines not computer workstations

I'm well aware that TFLOPS aren't the end all be all for determining FULL PERF capabilities, and I KNOW the Series X is a much better piece of hardware because it has A LOT more than just TFLOPS in it's favor!! And I thank you for not expanding or elaborating any further Owen, because it's obvious that you only have a basic understanding with what's going on inside of these next gen consoles... But, anything more than that basic understanding and your just projecting and injecting your own biased loyalties into what makes these things tick...
