This spring during my visit to France to see friends and family, my father and I took an epic road trip from French Riviera to Brest in Brittany to visit my son and spend time with him visiting this wonderful region of Brittany. Follow along as we start to explore the city of Brest. The city was almost totally destroyed during the Battle for Brest at the end of World War 2 and was rebuilt with mostly utilitarian style concrete buildings, without the charm of ancient buildings. In this part 2 of the Grand Tour of Brest, we walk above the commercial port, the visit the American monument for World War 1 and stroll in beautiful gardens and past the Castle of Brest. in French/ en français : ce printemps lors de mon séjour en France pour voir mes amis et ma famille, mon père et moi avons effectué un voyage épique pour traverser la France pour nous rendre de la Côte d’Azur jusqu’à Brest en Bretagne pour rendre visite à mon fils et passer du temps avec lui et visiter cette magnifique region de la Bretagne. Suivez-moi pendant que nous commençons à explorer la ville de Brest. La ville a été presqu’entièrement détruite pendant la Bataille pour Brest à la fin de la 2eme guerre mondiale et a été reconstruite en style béton et utilitaire, perdant au passage le charme des bâtiments anciens. Dans cette deuxième partie du grand tour de Brest, nous marchons au dessus du port commercial, visitons le monument américain pour la premiere guerre mondiale and marchons dans des beaux jardins et le long du chateau de Brest.
