But Tasha said that her Grandmother was like this way before Dementia. That her Mother doesnt see this woman because shes triggered from her childhood. She hasnt changed a bit. Mean as a damnsnake.
These are not all Dementia issues. She is able to articulate clear thoughts. She is operating without any filter. Some people are just nasty. This gets worse with age.
Yes Lord she is 🙏 what a blessing that she have a 💓 to take out the time to take care of her grandparents.love you sister and stay blessed and safe.💯🌿🌹♥️🙏🏼😘👁️👁️
I admire you ma’am. I worked with dementia patients for a time. It was a load, but it lasted 8 hours at a time. You give your all 24/84. May God bless you and your BEAUTIFUL grandmother ❤️❤️
Ms. Helen has found a way to make that money blanket look like the must-have for this fall😜. Thank you, Tasha, for chronicling the life of your beautiful grandmother and sharing her with us🤗.
@rosaurashroyer2559 not always true, some people as they get older do the opposite of how they were when they were in their younger day's, I work with patients with dementia & thier family members say alot of them were much nicer when they did not have the disease
You are such a beautiful soul and it shows how much love u have for your grandma I lost both my grandparents to dementia so I'm sending love and blessings to you all 🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Omg she’s the cutest lil grandmother 🥰. I know it can be hard taking care of elderly ppl. I started as a CNA before becoming an RN&it is not easy. Tip my 🧢 off to you. May God continue to bless your union🙏🏽🥰

What a beautiful soul you are, for you to put up with that behaviour and language and say no wants you. Well you are one of the most beautiful people with such unconditional love. Jesus wants you, remember that!! Peace ❤
You're a great woman, I know everything mean she says she really means the opposite! ❤🖤❤ take care I also hope you get metal break here and there for yourself!
Crunch her allergy meds up in some applesauce or creamy peanut butter . Definitely do the research and see if the pill is okay to consume crunched. I worked in a long term care facility and that's what the nurse would do there for some patients.
Her purse... My mother used to do the same thing. She used to go thru her purse constantly .. also climbing from the back seat to the front seat. My mother was 72, she just started stage 2 before she passed last month. My mother was also a smoker and had COPD. SHE CLEARED HER THROAT CONSTANTLY. They must be soul sisters... I see a lot of my mother in Mrs. Jackson. Music is a great therapy... Try playing some oldies to get her up dancing, to wear her out a bit. My mother used to love love love music when I pulled out my ipad one day.
I watched this whole live idk why she's so additive..IM HOOKED ON GRANNY👵 popcorn and soda..edit)i just got done going at it with my granny she's trying to get out the house and go to the what she calls the aid / welfare office..smh i don't know why its a thing for her to get on public assistance 😂
She said thank you baby too everyone. Bless her heart. She is just like my mum in her last blessed day's. It's hard it blummin hurts but they ate not in the right mind set x
When I was a child visiting my grandparents in NC I remember going next door to play with my friends. We went into the woods behind their house. There was a beautiful blue lake it was so peaceful. The next day we couldn't find the lake it was not there never saw it again. Years later I was in NC for my grandmother's funeral had a conversation with my older cousin who played basketball with the uncle of my childhood friends. My cousin had the same experience his basketball went into the woods they went in there to get it saw the lake. Next day they went back and the lake was gone. We never shared that story and had no idea we had the same experience.
God bless you Tasha for the care you gave your grand mother and grand father, 24/7 . You have a beautiful heart. You loved her unconditionally,. Thats a rare thing in this world today. I hope your grand father is still doing well. You shareing these lives is helping others who are taking care of their loved ones. It had to be very hard, on you. You were her angel and she did not know it then but she knows it now . Your grand ma had so so many wonderful people send her adorable gifts. She was truly blessed.
God bless you Tasha for your patience understanding and genuine love in caring for your Grandmother.. I took care of my Grandmother for awhile until her passing on Christmas 2000.. But nothing compared to what you're doing Sweetheart. May God bless you and continue to strengthen you❤❤
I just started watching grandma. If I understand correctly she has already passed. The thing that I found or find amazing is no matter how ugly she acted towards her granddaughter she never left her granddaughters side. That amazes me. Granddaughter you are extraordinary. Grandma is something else.
I'm NEW to UR CHANNEL. Tasha the way GRANNY looked at U; when U said '" SHE HIT U WITH THAT WALLET" I FELL OUT! LOVING Y'ALL! GOD'S BLESSINGS to the FAMILY!💘💞❤🩹
52:24 she thinks you are talking to her when you say skipping and gets offended when she says what and you ignore her. She didn't realize you were reading the comments. So when you suddenly start talking to her and asking her to say thank you for her gifts she calls you crazy. The conversation makes perfect sense when you actually pay attention to her. I feel bad because she seems to have resorted to name calling and insults and disowning you out of frustration. She gets to abusing the one person tending to her every need. So much love and compassion in giving her dignity in her last moments while her mental and physical abilities are on the decline. One of the most difficult times in life to go through or be there for loved ones through. It really is good that you are showing these moments for others to see. Being a good example of the signs of dementia and what to look out for. A good example of how orhers should treat their loved ones. Helping other families feel not so all alone in some similar situations. I'm sitting here typing this as I listen to you talk about how she was beating you over the head with her purse for trying to put her clothes on as she was trying to take them off. Its a crazy life but the energy and vibes you put out into the universe comes back to you 100 fold when the time is right.
I know this is going to sound really odd, but somehow hearing her makes me feel better, each time. Even that constant cough she has is oddly comforting. I wish I could have gotten to know her. 😢
I really love Mrs. Jackson she is a true blessing and I admire you for being so patient with her and loving her so unconditionally. She seems like she was a great lady. She truly loves you. She is truly your best friend. I'm so glad that you and she had each other. Truly special relationship.
Tasha, you’re feisty deer grandmother. The jaws of life clamped her mouth when you said.” where are they at, I need a vacation, who’s gonna take care of you?” grandmom two, two, two, much/funny” kiss your butt”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 boil boy Mrs. Jackson has a firecracker mouth never know what’s going to come out of it, she is truly too much! Lastly, but truly important, Tasha you’re doing an exceptional caring for your grandmother, and have lots of patience, because this was needed when caring for a Alzheimer person.❣️
❤ My mom had dementia and she passed away in 2019 in December. I want to tell you that you're doing a great job. It's hard to have someone in your family and someone you take care of to have dementia because you don't know what's going to come out of their mouth. But sometimes it's funny what comes out of their mouth. I miss my mom so much.😢
After living this life she earned her right of passage to be this way lol. My granny was actually worse she'd invite everyone over then snap n kick us all out lol... these are the best types of granny's!!!!💜
