Chickens are NOT a frugal solution! Have you looked at the price of chicken feed? Or how much pullets cost? Milk was from your or a neighbors cow. It wasn't what is now available in the store. That milk rots it doesn't go sour. Grandma didn't use lemons for cleaning they were too expensive.

Ising bathwater for cleaning clothing?! I dont want dhampoo and conditioner on my blouses... Or any of the soaps and skin cells, sweat etc on my clothes. I save my bathwater for my toilet. Use the scrub brush and the soapy bathwater to clean the toilet as sell as flushing it.

I don’t know who you grandma was but even during the Great Depression mine never did any of this garbage.

These are kinda inacurate. The flour sack lore is that they were actually made of cotton and they intentionally made the flour sacks to be able to be repurposed into clothing during the early 1900s. That was 100 years ago. Modern grandmas are only 60-70 years old, some even younger. Lol I know a grandma at age 40.
