GRANDMA'S HILARIOUS REACTION TO SHOCKING PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT!

It is a funny reaction but at the same time it portrays something that I have seen more and more often, parents not being able to be a bit compassionate with their own grown up children because of use of space / noise, even for temporary situations. I have a friend who lives in China, she wanted to deliver her baby in her home country and her mom invited her, her hubby and 2yo daughter to stay over. After 1 month she was back to China because apparently her mom could not handle them staying there for another 4 weeks till the end of the pregnancy and told them to leave and they didn't feel "at home' staying in a hotel. My mother came to visit us and stayed in our home for 2 months in China, was it a bit of a stretch for us living in an apartment and working ? yes. But when we went back to Europe for my grandpa's funeral she told us in advance that it would be better if we stay in a hotel...mind you we live in an apartment and she lives in a big house with 5 bedrooms and a garden and when we go there we don't spend more than the hours we sleep at home, the rest, we are outdoors with family. My cousin stepped up and said that we should stay with them and also added "I think this is ridiculous, you pay flights to come here and visa for your husband. They have a sports car and can't even help with picking up at the airport and you also need to rent a car and now you are going to pay for a hotel? no way". My grandma also offered. My mother in law told us last time that it would be more convenient for her if we stay in a hotel because she now uses the room to storage baskets that she crafts and sells, we stayed in a hotel and then a couple of friends our age met us for dinner and when they learned where we stay they told us.."we have a guest room..are you kidding me?!". Another friend from University times moved back to her home country because her parents needed help and wanted her closer, she left her job and moved back with the intention of finding a job there and being able to accommodate to their needs. Their parents told her when she arrived: You can stay with us one week but hope you can get your own place starting for next week, we are not used to sharing. Again, at least wait until she has a job to ask her to pay rent....There is this difference in generations, yes, parents got their homes working hard, but how hard it is for nowadays adult generations to buy a home its also a factor, homes are more expensive, smaller and costs of living are higher... despite also working hard. It is a new trend that I see more and more often and I see more people from my generation posting in their Facebook when they come back home asking for airbnb or temporary rentals...

I see your point loramend but on this occasion barb was only joking as rach and brad are only building next door. And her dad did say are you sure you don’t want to stay and start building after the baby arrives. Again although barb was only joking, but I see where you are totally coming from as I was in a similar situation 7 years ago, and my mum helped us out not once but twice.

Loramend I understand from your experiences how you could have your point of you. However, I don't think that Rachel's parents fall into this category. Barb and Rachel's father have been there every step of the way. Supportive and more than ready to help. Rachel and Brad and the babies are more than blessed to have them. I am 100% positive that there's no way Rachel's parents would turn them out or have them staying in a hotel. We all get set in our ways and are used to our own space. No matter whether we are young or old. I am sure that Brad and Rachel are equally as ready for their own home ..and I am positive that her parents will miss having those babies around, even if they are living just next-door. Her parents demonstrate a true servants heart. Peace and blessings to all.

Shannon McGonegal I ageee with this the baby doesn’t really need its own crib until about 4 months. I’m sure there’s another spot where a crib could fit somewhere haha :)

Laura Khader I think you misunderstand my intention of the comment.. I’m so beyond excited for them! I’ve always announced my pregnancies super early too. I just heard Brad say it (video) wouldn’t go up for a couple of months. I assumed they planned to wait and announce and maybe something came up where they could go ahead.

I'd guess because morning sickness has kicked in and its going to be noticeable on the vlogs. So just announce now so we understand why shes not the best or if vlogs become sporadic

We decided to release them early because we were too excited to wait!!

This is what I do. I use my bamboo insert and then usually a hemp doubler. Although, I still use my pockets and lalabyes too. And love my grovia ONES

We told everyone about the twins as soon as we knew because we wanted to celebrate them for however long they were with us. We decided this baby isn’t any different. ❤️

Erika Arn I’m Australian so I have no idea what Super Bowl Sunday is. To me that’s just another Sunday? I honestly don’t have any idea of days and dates of things that are significant in American history. Ie; Super Bowl Sunday, thanksgiving, Black Friday. They're not accurate. They start off 2 weeks off to begin with(at 2 weeks pregnant you're actually just ovulating, your body hasn't even conceived yet). And it's just guessing based off HCG levels how far along a person is. And HCG levels vary so much, that you can't tell how far along or how many babies based on that number alone.
