Todays video is about the transition from GrandMA2 to grandMA3.
If you are used to working on GrandMA2, I will say that you are 90% there on GrandMA3. There is a lot of changes between the 2 systems, but the terminology is the same.
The only thing you need to concentrate on in the beginning is finding the things you need.
If you are used to working on GrandMA2 you already know how the console work, what a TEMP fader is, and how to use sequences. That part is much the same on GrandMA3, the only thing you need to do is to figure out where all the settings are.
Some of the places where there is larger changes is some of the topics I will cover in this video, networking, updating, patching etc.

I am having to go back and use MA2 OnPc at a venue. Once again you are delivering the answers to the questions. Production on MA3 is fast and fluid!

I started my MA Journey on MA3 and learned a lot. Now I know quite much on ma3 but nothing on ma2. Now I got a job in a night club, and there using a ma2 light. At my first night I was completely screwed up and I didn’t get along well. So no I am trying to learn ma2 on pc with the showfile from the club. And I am really struggling. So this video was quite nice, please more :)

Great, thanks a lot! A good idea to tell about losts of MA3 from MA2 (in each new version they add them, but so long.... For exaple shapers (blade) special dialog, direct faders color dialog (raw) and others

can you do a full video on cloning a show in MA3? It's the only thing holding me back from switching. Can you address the problems that may show up when a local production is using generic fixtures, or knockoff fixtures when things aren't quite right? Something about DMX ranges in attributes?
