Is there a way to choose to store just one of the parts? Can I store the programmer part 1 as cue 1, then clear out that part and keep part 2 and three in the programmer and store those as individual cues in the same way?
No that is currently not possible and also a little bit against the programmer part concept. So as a workaround you could try to use the cut and paste programmer function to cut a programmer part and paste it to a new part zero to store it in a new cue afterwards.
@@MALightingInt I see. The function I'm looking for is the ability to have more separate programmers. I often find myself in a situation with designers where they want to dabble with separate parts of the rig before making a decision. I've made a macro-based workaround in MA2 where I store the output of the programmer in a temporary exec so I can work on something else with an empty programmer without losing my output. I can then call the stored output back into the programmer when I'm done with the other part. Perhaps this is a rarely requested feature since a lot of programmers might adapt the communication between themselves and designers to match the workflow rather than the other way around.
