Excellent content. Would love to see more of these. I'm a decent pvmer with solo kills at most bosses (only missing vorago, and AOD) but would love to push to the next level. Definitely using this vid tonight.
This is nutters! I have the same gear but have been playing it much safer with kill times about double and a yak. I'm going to try this out and rinse and repeat. 1 cycle HA and 2 cycle zuk will make a huge difference. I think in general ive been conservative with heath so less split souling and definitely not enough invoke deaths or effective lures. Thanks 🙏🏼

I have my public discord server linked in the descriptions more recent videos. I haven't done the boss in a while so all I remember is what's here on the video. The aim isn't to be the "world record unbeatable guide", just a high level guide that people can choose to use as is or adapt and improve it to meet their needs.
Autofire 7, I didn't mention it cause I think everyone has an auto fire interval that they like for themselves. Also sometimes I'll spam click it manually on Zuk when I'm low HP under split soul. Definitely play around with it.
I just wanted to try it out tbh, to see if I would notice one vs the other; and honestly can't say like I felt much of one either. I did tank 1 did recall tanking 1 jad hit through split soul with crystal shield though that probably would have signed me otherwise. So maybe there's some merit to it.
not bad. though if i may add a suggestion for wave 1: 2 autos on the 2 northern minions, then deathmark and threads, then soul sap on one of the southern ones and volley and then t95spec the bats. 7 GCDs for the whole wave and doesnt use LD or skulls. 100% consistence for me as long as i dont screw something up. also for wave 2, i havent tried this yet but i want to experiment with killing the rangers and then doing a deathmark>blood siphon on the large melee. this should in theory deathmark everything thats left. i also want to experiment with canceling the siphon early vs doing the whole thing. the full ability should kill the melee so the thing i realy want to experiment with is if the AOE is strong enough to kill everything else
After making this video I was actually able to start getting consistent sub 13s with a few variations on some of the lures and rotations. I probably won't make a whole new guide, but will upload one of my better kills instead soon enough. I think you're right on the first wave strategy being better, I've adopted something nearly identical, but then I living death for p2 without apot. Your idea for wave 2 sounds pretty cool, I was curious about blood siphon on a couple waves as well, mostly wave 2 and 6 but I must be bad at positioning or any number of other skill issues; cause it never feels as powerful as I'm expecting it to. Please do share if you come up with some cool setups, I have some interest in pushing for a sub 12 at some point.
@@CyrussRS sounds good. will let you know how my tests go. funnily enough i came up with idea from when i was doing ed3 since it is incredibly useful in a few spots there, notably in the path leading up to tareket and also durring taraket. you can easily get a full heal with a solid 30k hit on taraket when surrounded by minions, so i was curious if the same could be done at zuk. i do know for a fact though that the first hit of blood siphon will proc deathmark on everything in the area so if nothing else it could be used for just 1 hit for a mass deathmark. also wave 12 tends to hurt a lot for me, being a mix of ranged and mage so i cant just devo and reflect doesnt stop all of it, so maybe i could use it there for some free hp
hey btw, coming back to this after a bit of time. i did a time comparison for your wave 7 approach vs the way i usually do it. mine is a solid 10 seconds faster and much more reliable as the enemies always line up on the exact same spots so you can always cast your threads abilities on the same ones each time. heres a vid of a run i did ages ago. a lot of the strats i used in the vid are realy out of date in terms of what i typically do (and the horrendous kill time shows it), but it showcases my strat for this wave. i think my strat for wave 8 in that vid is pretty solid as well, especially as i usually find myself waiting for threads to come off cooldown. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7s_rc-GK4Wc.htmlsi=tm13RM_cIFlOR4L5&t=246
not anytime soon, I still have a lot of bosses on my list before doing Solak for my irons GReaper series. But when I do get there it's fairly likely I'll want to make one.
That's the next boss on my list actually :~) After I finish this title for my GReaper series I think I'll be going to Zamorak next. I'm sure it'll take me some time to learn and push enrage, but absolutely want to make one. Thanks for the comment!
