You are such a wonderful teacher . I love that you not only show the stitches multiple times but you explain what and why you are doing it. It’s taken me a little while to understand your accent but I sometimes I turn on the cc. You are so charming and definitely an expert. I am a quilter and a beginning embroiderer but even at 76, I am definitely learning and enjoying the process. I live in East Tennessee . ❤❤

I am a firm believer in the doodle cloth. Sometimes I like it better because I can play an experiment.

Granitos are also grains, as in granitos de arena, grains of sand or of rice - granos de arroz.

Sarah I have been working on a quilt block and not wanting to do the daisy stitch. I watched your video this morning and you had my answer. Thank you

They look a bit like a coffee bean or an unopened flower bud. Using for seed heads as you suggest is good. I don't think they look at all like a pimple thank goodness.

Hi Sarah, oooo, I love this stitch, I recently used this stitch to create a flower on another stitch project. I'll look forward to adding it to my sampler 🪡🧵

I could have used that stitch last night in a crazy quilt project. Glad to learn how stranding helps. Do you separate your threads for French knots?

QUESTION…I am a beginner in the usa and accidentally picked up a few embroidery floss at the craft store in the bins labeled “Satin floss”. However the numbers such as DMC 2740 and 2898 indicate they are 100% cotton floss used for tapestry. Label also includes SAS-13 rue de plastat? Made in France.Thats on all the labels. They are not listed in my DMC color card at all. What kind of fabric or craft are these for?? Thank you. Love your work and you are an excellent teacher!

So pretty. Just wondering what size needle you are using with 6 strands. Thanks for your help.
