I love this deck. I backed it on Kickstarter. My parents were antique dealers, and they had tons of old postcards with anthropomorphized cats and others with funny risqué scenes, so it brings me back to childhood. Also, the woman in the 4 of Cups might actually be my late mother-in-law. The likeness is uncanny. The cardstock actually feels exactly like that of the original postcards!
The face in the moon on the High Priestess looks exactly like Tim Curry! Thanks for the walkthrough - what a fun deck. It’s great to have another way to support Ukraine too.
OMG, I've gotta have them both!!! Best images on a Tarot deck ever for when you don't want a specific deck but one that can make you laugh while getting your answers!
Same as you, Tim Curry. LOL LOVE that High Priestess card!!! Again same as you on hearing that about the most amazing magicians. I wonder what truth there is to it? Also the best guitar players were supposed to the same at a crossroads.
Such a fun deck ! The King of Swords looked like a young Putin to me and i immediately got the Princess Dianna vibes as well. Thank you for sharing this very interesting deck. Much love and many Blessings ! 💜💜💙💙🙏🙏
This deck is really lovely, such great old images 🥰 I also really love the backs with the envelope design and wax seal. I also love the look of the Lenormand cards too. Lovely walkthrough as always my friend. Fave card is High Priestess 😍❤️
I initially backed this on KS but then cancelled because that 9 of Swords creeps me out. 🥴I really do like the rest of the deck though! But I just couldn't get passed that one card. 😣Thanks for sharing! 💕
@@the_hermits_cave 🤣🤣Welp, that stream doesn't appear to be urine. 🤭It's so bizarre! 😆However, I have added this deck back onto my wish list though because the rest of the cards are great! I absolutely love the fact that this deck uses actual images of old postcards. There's another deck (it's mass market) called Vintage Wisdom Oracle by Victoria Moseley. Victoria collected vintage postcards that she collected from an old shop during her trip to France and made them into an oracle deck. It's a deck I use often and really enjoy. I love the idea of something old being repurposed and made into something we can continue to use and enjoy. 🥰
DEATH: Perhaps she is saying goodbye to her beloved who is going off to war. He is in navy uniform and ship is coming to get him. Anticipating death? NINE SWORDS: Yeah, that's just odd. QUEEN WANDS: Diana vibes for sure and would be an ideal Queen of Hearts. 10 SWORDS: Titanic would also make for a good Tower card. I am not diggin' those photograph type sport images but this is a very appealing deck. The range of art styles is charming. Thank you for sharing.
What a lovely deck Simon. Very cute & gorgeous colours & quality. (By the way, can we start again when we finish the deck in the FB group? Over a year, everyone would choose different decks to share 😊🌻) Thank you for the really enjoyable walkthrough 💜 x
