Thank you for the tutorial! If anyone came down here to look for sizing, i wear around a 36D and i used 12 rows around instead of 7 rows around if it helps! (With the size 4 hook, using redheart soft[?] yarn and another unknown of a similar density and size) I'm also going to modify this so the back isnt completely open by adding a couple granny squares along the side
Can confirm, I wear a 38DD and did about 12 rows for my cups (using a 4.5mm because I couldn’t find my 4mm.) and they look pretty good, if you need them bigger then definitely make more rows. Same thing for the torso part, I added a row, making 7 total. I also added granny stitches/squares along the side to make sure it fit around me.
I actually bought a top from you months ago and i loved it so much that it literally singlehandedly inspired me to start crocheting myself!! then randomly this video popped into my recommended, i made this top, then i looked at your channel and realized that it's you! thanks so much for this, the top came out gorgeous :)
Omg !! I completed the top in 3 hours with breaks of course, It was very easy to follow and I must say it is definitely beginner friendly. Thank you so much for this tutorial 👏🏾
If you’re using a solid color, at the end of the round instead of ch.2 and slip stitch do a ch.1 and hdc where the slip stitch goes. That way you end up in the middle of the chain space. Then ch.3 and put 2 dc on top of the hdc. RPT at the end of every round.
This is actually really so nice 😭😭❤️❤️I got stuck trying to create something like this and I just saw this tutorial..thank youu ❤️😭😭I won't be frustrated no moreeee
just made my first top using this tutorial 🥹 im bigger than kelsie so had to make adjustments. in case it helps anyone: i’m about a medium, 34dd. i did 9 rows for the boob part, 12 rows for the body & i also added 12 rows on each side of the body for extra coverage. 250 chains for the straps 💗
Thank you for this!! I'm making this top for someone else who has a similiar cup size and I was trying to figure out how many rows to do, so thank you for sharing!!
Can't tell you how much I love this! Just finished this top (I did red and pink - turned out super cute) using your tutorial, which is the first crochet piece I've ever done! I've been knitting for a while and only wanted to get into crocheting after finding your instagram. Thank you so much for this video! Can't wait to see more :)
Hey! This tutorial is so good❤️ I made the top in orange and pink and it turned out really well, the only thing is that it is a small bit see through and I was wondering what you could do about that? Thanks! X
This is a really beautiful top. I made it in shades of purple and ivory for a 32A bra cup for my daughter. Everybody loves it thank you for the tutorial. Wish we could show you
So cute! I plan to start one tonight! I’m looking to find a cute quick top to make for a date night with hubby this weekend! I think I’ve found something! Thanks A Lot! I plan to add a few fringes at the ends! 🙃
Hey! Thank you, I’m glad you like the tutorial 😊 I usually use Lily Sugar n cream yarn but for this one I had to use peaches n cream which is just a Walmart knock off brand. I am using a clover ergonomic crochet hook size 4 mm.
@@annaananas1075 that’s basically what I did, I looked up bra cup sizes on google images, and it gave me the cup size and what inch it was so for example 32DD was 7inches width, so I just kept doing rows until I had 7 inches! 💜 I hope this helps 😊👍. Xx
@@kimlane521 Hey can I ask did the DD fit at 7 inches? Cuz I followed this tutorial and my cups are 7 inches and she says in the comments she is a B. On Google the largest measurement I could find for a D cup is 7 inches but I am a D and these cups are definitely too small on me. I'm so lost and have no idea how big I need to go. I'm making this as a commission for Christmas.
So I want to make this top as a present for my friend who just has her baby not too long ago... since it's a present I can't tell her but I'm a C cup and mine came out perfect with this but how many would you suggest for a *Triple* D?
Stupid question, but how exactly do you put it on and it hold your girls up? Maybe mine are too big, but I’m having some issues getting them to not look like saggy balloons
Thank you for this tutorial. I had mulitcolor yarn and this pattern was great for it. I would love to help you adding spanish subtitles so it can reach more people. How could I do it?
i’m working on this top but my rounds aren’t as tight as yours and there’s more gaps. i think it might be because i’m using a 5mm hook? i’m using the same yarn as you are but don’t have a 4mm hook. is this the problem? is there anything i can change for next time?
I would say the only problem is the hook size! If you don’t have a 4mm specifically you can use something smaller than that like a 3.75mm hook if that’s available 😊 or you can keep using the 5mm hook with a thicker yarn!
Whew, I love this pattern but dang if I didn't feel like I was in a speed race. I had to keep pausing the video and turn the music off, it was very distracting and loud. Something to think about maybe for future videos?
Do you know there are speed settings? You can slow down or speed up the rate at which the video plays. Honestly though I'm pretty sure all tutorial videos are intended to be paused. I have always paused them, I never try to crochet along with the video. I see what needs to be done next, then pause, crochet in my own time/speed, then watch the next part of the video. A crochet along and a tutorial are different things. If you are looking for videos to crochet along with you need to search for that specifically.
@@EveryStitchWitch Did you ever figure this out? I'm trying to make one for a 32D right now. Following the tutorial I got cups that are 7 inches and I am a D myself and they are too small for me. I'm thinking about adding a row or two.
