Grant Delpit is most definitely the best safety in college. I agree that Paris ford is good but if you look at it in a whole delpit has been going off consistently since his freshman year
Kieran Piper Xavier McKinney is an elite man cover guy and he would actually be one of the best corners in the country, Delpit isn’t that good in man coverage, McKinney doesn’t miss multiple tackles per game, Delpit at times looked like he couldn’t tackle Drew Bledsoe in open field and McKinney has even made his presence felt in the open field. McKinney can do anything Delpit does and the only thing Delpit does better is better range.
ImAHottDogg Unlike Delpit McKinney can actually play man coverage and tackle better. Delpit looked hella suspect in open field too much this season. But then again I saw ur logo and I see why ur so stupid
Reads the play super fast, takes top notch angles with great speed and has the ability to finish tackles. Not only will he make Pro Bowls but I can see him making multiple All Pro teams.
Marcus tisdale I don’t believe that. Greedy couldn’t tackle his last year at LSU and all he did as a rookie was show to be a sure tackler. I believe the high ankle sprain really hindered his ability.
1:12 Mannn that shot of Death Valley is so nice. I swear if you're a college football fan I highly recommend going to a NIGHT game in Baton Rouge. Geaux Tigers!
Born September 20, 1998. Played high school football for IMG Academy (FL). Played college football for the LSU Tigers. Drafted #44 overall by the Cleveland Browns. Welcome to the Dawg Pound.
OSU has the best CB. We got #1 and he is #1!! Not to mention, Oklahoma arguably has the best WR. With Bama having the best WR core and second (sometimes 1st) best single wr in the country. RB? Ehhh
Turhan Henderson LSU has 2 receivers with 1200+ yards (both better than the top receiver at Bama). Just sayin. And that’s with Bamas weak ass schedule.
Brandon Wright So he is in the best possible situation. That award is stupid and Julio Jones didn’t win that award but Golden Tate did that should tell you something about that bias ass award.
@@nolanhause7706 Exactly. This dudes tackling form is very poor. I cannot imagine Lynch wants to add a poor tackling safety with the only pick we have in the first 4 rounds.
Grant Delpit + Derwin James Grant Delpit + Jamal Adams Grant Delpit + Eric Weddle The list goes on. Almost any elite safety would become a deadly duo with Grant on the team.
I think this was one of the best playoffs of all time ohio state Clemson and LSU if north dame was in it or a team like Florida if they were better it would’ve been the best playoffs or even Texas
Greedo injuries aren’t an excuse apparently. Hurt or not, Fields was still supposed to be fantastic in the Championship game. Yet he got shit on by SEC chums for not doing well in the first half.
@@thespicyone22 I really hope Dallas can get him. 17 seems pretty reasonable but I have a feeling he will go at 13-17. If Delpit isn't there, then maybe we can get Ashtyn Davis in the second round.
@@myongore7568 I watch it and some guys ran over him and through him who had NFL body types....u need to analyze it instead of watching it....rookie lol
Jamal Thomas how many “game changing” plays has delpit made?? you’re making it sound like he’s the reason this team is undefeated. Nah, you showed that these awards are a popularity contest. These guys play the same, yet a lot of have better stats than Delpit
He’s gonna be a Brown, they have a decent pick, and they need him after trading away Peppers last season, and if I’m correct, Randall’s contract is up. He’d probably be a target for them even if he resigns. Come to Cleveland, Delpit!
People saying Delpit is the best safety in college football didn't watch him play this year. He was a super stud last year, but disappointed by a long shot this year. I'm speaking to what a lot of lsu fans have said. I've seen so many lsu fans talk bad about him this year.
