Over three days, USA Men's National Team Director Grant Hill and the National Team staff traveled around the country to tell players they would represent the U.S. in Paris. #USABMNT
The best part about this video is that most of these guys are already accomplished Hall of Famer and they're still excited to be selected. Always cool to see some of the best of each generation team up.
American fakeness at its best. Or what did you expect from them in front of the cameras? Some of them take it for granted, that's why they can't win "everything" anymore
@@agentcodybanx8909Kyrie's box office, must-see TV, hella fun to watch guess they pivoted. Tyrese gives off a good all-round vibe for chemistry and team spirit. Ngl Booker is nice on a good day, feel like if they picked Curry they didn't need Book & should've gone with Kyrie or Trae or even Lamelo since they're younger.
@dasfx2895 exactly, book is just another ball handler and not that good on defense, kyrie isn't DPOY either but he's a better ball handler than Book and Hali. I just don't see why either of those 2 over Kyrie
I will say, if team USA had a 15 man roster instead of 12, Brunson, Butler, and probably Dame or someone else would’ve gotten it, but currently even though you can argue for Brunson I’d still say this is the best fitted team Also can we talk about how hype it’ll be to see LeBron, KD, Kawhi, and Curry playing together????
I would like to see usa assemble something like this in fiba wc. That's where they need to prove themselves, plus it's much more competitive than olympics. Been a while since i saw them dominate there and actually send their best players.
Tbh if team USA wants to use the World Cup as a development tournament then they should come out and say so. That being said Team USA should also use this as an opportunity to start building the 2027 World Cup team. Here’s what I would do, 1. During training camp pick the top 15 players you have in mind for the roster I.e Chet, Brandon Miller, Barnes, Murray, Kessler, George, J Dub, Podziemski, Cade, Flagg Ja and Trae (these are some random players i could think of who could be a part of the team) They will be a part of the training camp and not sure if its allowed but to practice with the squad during the Olympics. 2. If they aren’t allowed to be with the squad during the Olympics then instead they get to train with the training camp. Think what Bron, KD and Steph can teach these guys. 3. They get to play in at least 3 exhibition games and can play with the players in the squad. This way it helps get younger guys more acclimated to the international game and will do a tone to help develop the younger guys.
It's always been a "development tournament" for the young guys with role players. Sometimes it works out great like the 2014 team which was the most dominant Team USA since the original dream teams. Lately not so much
