The child's family didn't want to press charges because it would've messed his ball career up.When he payed child-support it was the legal limit. Actually if you watch the whole interview he talks about playing against Jordan and dominating him outside of the NBA and that’s how he gained his confidence. Then he mentions that Jordan got the best of him the next time. But he had already talked about playing against Jordan before this clip. He just said Kobe was the best he ever played against. It’s ok for y’all to accept that. It’s just his opinion.

Grant Hill did not say that and that's a clickbait. He said that he never guarded Jordan for an entire game. He didn't match up with Jordan. He matched up with Pippen. Therefore, the best player he ever played against directly (that he was matching directly) was Kobe. And that was when Grant Hill was done as a player. That was when he was a role player, after his prime in the 90s...

I still think that's a great statement in favor of Kobe Grant Hill made. Kind of like what Tracy McGrady made.

It kinda makes sense. Jordan was past his prime by the time Grant Hill came into the league (although still the best player in the NBA) while Grant Hill had many opportunities to play Kobe in the last few seasons of his career.

I used to watch the pistons and bulls match up a lot, and G. Hill never really matched up with MJ that much, like he did Kobe. He was always putting that work on Scottie. Plus, Grant was the number one option on the pistons at that time. Wouldn't have been a smart move to put him on Jordan. He'd be wasting too much energy trying to guard him, when he needed that energy to score. So, they rotated dudes on jordan. When he guarded Kobe; Grant wasn't he number one option at that time, so he was expendable on offense.

This is true, there is a video online that proves it where injured Pip was getting roasted. MJ switched and literally shut him down on most plays and won the game. That was the only time I've seen them battle like that other than 96 LA bug bunny gym.

Man... Grant Hill would have been an AWESOME compliment to Kobe under Phil. Almost like a Pippen for Kobe. Hill is such a great guy too... and would have had Kobe's respect for sure. Wish that could have panned out.

He's biased because he was never around for below-age-35 Mike.......Mike was better than bad shot taker Kobe, but Kobe was young when Grant Hill was young, so that's the guy Hill got to play against.

Most Players from MJs era and Kobe’s era can say Kobe is more all around talented but I can get that it’s probably that MJ did it first and there was a craze where other cities loved it but the fact Kobe came right after other cities hated it without realizing it’s probably because they thought it would be another 50 years before seeing anything like MJ and then they got Kobe which was less athletically gifted but more skillful thru grit and work to chase MJ and doing so much to enhance it by learning from every aspect of positions and even off the court he found ways to make it enhance his game and mind

The number of "what ifs" for Kobe's career. There was Chris Paul, Kevin Garnett (I think Kobe torpedoed that one), Grant Hill... like dang. But things played out well for KG though.
