I wasn’t really familiar with Ben before this. But he really naturally explained his thinking process to the camera. I asked my son (14 years old) and he said, “The Pause King?!!! Yeah, he SENDS it!” Now I’m hooked - another genuine dude like Grant that both of my good junior golfers can follow. For what it’s worth, the process-thought-discussions are the most valuable parts of these matches. They provide great perspective for my daughter (who’s committed to a Power5 D1 school) and my son who is headed in that direction. Aside from that, it’s good for them to see genuine fun being had by these two guys. Your body language is so good.

Two of arguably the most genuine golfers on RU-vid. Not only do you get to see great golf but you enjoy watching these two just be themselves. Loving the content Grant! Hope to see more of Ben in the future!

Grant. been watching you progress with your content and its been refreshing. your parent should be proud. this match was everything golf is. The ups and downs are the greatest. you two are so genuine and pleasant through all the bad holes. I play in a league with some old timers and they are so cool and calm on the course that it doesn't matter what kind of shots they hit, good, bad... they stay even keeled either way. I've learned that from them. mainly my dad. he's not a great player but he had definitely taught me how to BE on a golf course. " Son, Keep it light and don't let your failures change your attitude on the course, Failure will happen, but its how we react that effects the next shot." I go by the 7 second rule. I have 7 seconds to be pissed about a bad shot, and 7 seconds to gloat about a great shot. you have to forget those shots after 7 seconds and then move on to the next shot. no anger, no big head. its working for me. Keep up the great work you two and thanks for the great content!

So awesome, 2 great (Schizophrenic) golfers, entertaining dialog, and it was like it was scripted. But what really amazed me is the cinematography. Whoever handled the cameras and did the editing was incredible. I've worked in this industry over 40 years and know what it takes to make a production like this and I for one don't take it for granted. A lot of times I forget that this didn't come out of Hollywood with a million dollar budget but just 2 guys, a caddie, and a small production crew putting out content that rivals anything coming out of one of the biggest studios in the world. Great job to everyone that is involved. Thank God we are lucky enough to get to spend an hour and fifteen minutes watching this great and entertaining video. The best part of my day. Thank you.

With all of the turmoil going on in professional golf these days, I have shifted my focus to RU-vid golf. Grant is one of my favorites and Ben is quickly becoming a favorite also. What a match!! Grant, it was a great idea to have this match with Ben. He seems like a genuinely good guy, and is obviously a great player too. I found myself laughing out loud during this match. Great Intro to the video as I had no idea until the first few holes were done who was going to come back on whom. Fantastic match at a great course, and you guys do such good production work. It's a treat and a joy when new content comes out. It must have just been great fun to be a part of that one. This match made me think you and Ben would be a good partnership against George and Wesley Bryan. 18 hole scramble match against those two.

Just feels like these guys are hitting their groove and they really gel. Gotta commend you Grant for hanging in there after all the bad breaks (and a few questionable decisions. I have to admit I probably would have mentally melted down after blowing a lead like you did but you stayed positive and made some really good holes down the stretch to pull out the match. This video really exemplifies how important it is to hang in there and just keep playing every shot one at a time. You just NEVER know how things will turn out! BTW, that course is brutally difficult. No way I would want to play it on a regular basis!

I enjoy watching Grant’s RU-vid videos very much. I really enjoy his 18 holes matches. Those doing the videoing and editing do an incredible job. This match with Ben Kruper was extremely enjoyable to watch. The golf course was beautiful and very challenging. I enjoyed the camaraderie between both Grant and Ben; there was great competition, yet at the same time they were honest admiration for each other. There definitely needs to be a rematch.

It's somewhat comforting for us "average golfers" though to see that two great RU-vid golfers can struggle, especially Ben at the beginning. But then.... To be honest, it must be said that Grant wasn't just playing against Ben. Nor was Ben just playing against Grant. In addition to playing against one another, they were both playing against the Trump International Golf Course. Most of us have never walked the course much less played it from the tees the boys used, but the cameraman was a star. Sure, he's a one-eyed gimp, but he sure knows how to use the lens & the pixel producer to capture the tight fairways, the nasty rough, the omnipresent water, and those strategically placed sand traps. That course can hurt any golfer as bad as Trump got hurt in a NY courtroom, and the cameraman plied his trade as well as the boys played some of their shots. Finally, the boys made friendly banter back & forth and stayed gentlemen. This vlog was RU-vid golf at its best.

A game of inches…. Golf is just a crazy sport. So enjoyable to watch these two especially how they handle the adversity of close misses.

56:40 minute mark haha i love when people say it takes a full 360. Which essentially is saying its staying the same course as it was the whole time. What you should say is "this has taken a full 180" noting you have conpletely turned it around. 😂 But damn can these two play some golf.
