Grant and Nigel had the best friendship. Grant had protected him from bullies when they were at school, and Nigel always remained loyal to him and the Mitchells.
Nigel was Grant's best friend since they were kids. Grant protected him from bullies (one of the sweetest facts about him). He's the only person outside of the family who Grant ever really trusted
There were two reasons for Grant's violent temper. 1) His father was abusive to him, Phil and Peggy, and 2) Grant had PTSD + nightmares from serving in the Falklands' War. When you take that into consideration, he becomes a more relatable personality. It's pretty obvious that he's reacting so violently because Sharon and Phil made a fool of him. There's a thin line between love and hate
Ik bosses at EastEnders tried to get Leslie Grantham to return in 1994 around this time. Shame he didn’t because it would have been interesting to see what Den would have made of Grant. Ik he’s be happy to see Sharon as landlady of The Queen Vic but he’d be pretty pissed at Grants treatment of Sharon
@@bensmithkent22 The thing is Grant never had the brains he was born with and used his fists first. Den was smarter than that sure he had his fair share of fights but most of the time he got his revenge on people by using his head. Den would have been seething with rage at the way his little princess had been treated but he would also be smart enough to realise he wouldn’t win in a fight with Grant. Den would have taken Grant down and got revenge in another way similar to how he got rid of Phil in 2003
underneonloneliness2 yeah it wasnt like anything back in the 1990s was it. all seemed a bit rushed. i think if he was in it permanatley though he would get there. :)
Michelle the witch. She couldn't tell grant not to come. Only Sharon could. It was their pub. Hated him but ended up pregnant by him. She had a very strange friendship with her
