Before anything, lemme tell you what you need to know before reading.
So, it’s an omegaverse au that I’ve been wanting to try out. If you’re not familiar with it, I suggest reading a bit more on it so you can know the basics. So it goes like this. (In my one shot)
Alphas, betas, and omegas exists but only in small numbers because they’ve been diminishing over the years. They cannot shift into wolves. Omegan males exists and can have children (they call them pups) but recently they all have been dying after giving birth.
Each wolf is assigned a mate by the moon goddess (she’s irrelevant in this ff, but basically she’s what the wolves worship but their faith has been diminishing over the years due to wrongful matings and independence, wolves choosing who they want to love and such) and they can tell by their scent. You kinda just know. Most of the time, when one of the pair doesn’t like their mate, they can reject them but usually die over time once they do so. They both go through pain but the weaker class usually dies first. (Like within a year after rejection)
In this story, Tae doesn’t know he’s a wolf.
Also, I forgot to warn for violence so that happens at 35:43-41:06 (mentions of blood so pls skip if you’re uncomfortable)

Ok, so Jk rejected his abusive mate in order to save Tae who was about to die. After doing so, he realizes that he will eventually die because every other omega who rejected their mates did, like Jimin (Rip 🥺)
But there was something that they missed that could’ve saved their lives.
They weren’t marked by another wolf. When you mark someone, you share your pain and emotions with that person to a certain degree.
So when Tae and jk marked, jk didn’t know he saved his life by doing so. Tae took some of the pain jk would experience from rejecting his original mate.
So how did he survive giving birth to a child?
Well, most of the omegas were raped just so they could have kids (there are also females who do get pregnant, but omegan males give birth to a lot of pups at a time)
But jk truly loved Tae, and thus his heart wasn’t broken nor did he experience turmoil as they both shared Jks burden. Jk was showered with love during his pregnancy but all this time thought he was going to die. He didn’t tell Tae anything.
He was surprised when he did have Kanei and was still well. He eventually did tell Tae about what’s been happening to omegan males after birth. When Tae found out Jk was going to kill himself by having a child just because jk didn’t want him to be alone, he was furious at Jk for making that decision by himself that night but eventually forgave him because he knew he meant well.
Jk said he’d do it again 👑
So that was it for my oneshot! It was less plot driven as I just wanted to explore the omegaverse au finally! I had so much fun with this ff but oh wow this took the span of 10 days to do 😫 it was all in increments, of course 🤣
I originally was going to do a whole different plot (not omegaverse) where Jk was this ethereal being that Tae could never have and it was going to be called “eye candy” but scrapped that for this more fun one! I’d be willing to take some ideas for a potential 1K oneshot? This was supposed to be it but I got too excited and wanted this out already (besides who knows if I’ll even get 1K subscribers??) but I’m happy nonetheless 🥰
Pls let me know if you have an idea for another oneshot or what you thought about this oneshot? I just couldn’t kill jk AGAIN, man I’m so weak for the man 🤣
