Excellent Video and nice explaination to clear the air on DAP vs GDAP.... Keep up the good work. I would like you to create a guidance video regarding the GDAP migration tool that is available to use only till October this year. Thanks again for your wonderful stuff you create on M365 domain.

Hey I liked your explanation. I followed along your video with some written resources so I didn't get much out of your visual engagement in the back-ground. It would be nice if you also dot-pointed some of the most important points from this because you said a lot more important stuff than what was on the board. Overall great video hope to see more of these.

Thanks for excellent video as always. Sadly this is the first I am hearing of GDAP and have very little time to prepare.

Well good news is they are now going to delay the rollout: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/announcements/2023-january#granular-delegated-admin-privileges-gdap-and-delegated-admin-privileges-dap-milestone-updates

Great video, pretty much exactly what I needed to know! Good pace, visuals definitely helped. Audi could be improved, try a lav mic. Also, keep exposure lock on, the video was darkening occasionally. Let's see a bit more of your personality. You and John Savill's Technical Training channel (and John Savill!) have a lot in common.

Hello! Thank you for informative video! Could you please explain what impact it will have on Azure Plan and Partner Earned Credits in CSP? What is best practice in this case?

Thanks! Thats a great question. this is a good resource for PECs docs.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/gdap-faq#is-pec-impacted-when-dapgdap-is-removed You will notice right under it has the competency question and a link to a location that doesn't tell you much. Most competencies honor the CPOR or DPOR model so if you remove DPOR/DAP you can still get it as long as you have CPOR. If you work with a disti, CPOR is established by them when they associate your MPNID with your customer records. If you are a CSP1 you can do that yourself when you provision subscriptions with them. Its all a bit confusing but I hope that makes sense. If you let me know what competencies you have i can get more specific.

but seriously how does GDAP work with MSOnline and other Powershell modules? Has anyone figured this out yet?
@t-minus365
@t-minus365 2 года назад
You will want to start using the secure app model if you want to run powershell cmdlets on behalf of customer tenants. Are you familiar with that? In that scenario, you make an app registration and select the applicable permissions using Graph API. the MSOnline cmdlets will be depricated in the near future.
