Love these loose parts. I wish it was easier to find larger loose parts. I have a multi-age classroom aged 1-4 so I need to be careful with small parts! Thanks for pointing out the larger ones!
Thanks for the video. I love your collection. We just started our journey on Grapat and there is a long way to go haha. Btw I have been eyeing on the lola set recently. It seems fun.
Almost forgot! I wish you could share the details about how to make that giant magnetic black board! That is exactly what I want for my kid. Also wondering where did you get that huge wall decor of butterflies.
Do your children play with all of the loose parts without following your lead with activities, I have a 9 month old and I’m trying to gauge whether he would explore these toys by himself for years to come without my lead
He would definitely explore them. But I would stick to the larger Grapat toys for your Child to explore. The smaller pieces I would save until your little one is a bit older. But they would definitely explore them. They may NOT play with it in a way that you expect, but that is ok, bc they are exploring and learning and finding their own way. My children play with ALL of the Grapat pieces and utilize them in different ways. It’s definitely a toy they can grow with ❤️
Oh thank you ❤️ Im so glad you’re enjoying these videos. I got the baskets from Amazon, but I’ll be honest and say that the shipping for these was a real pain. They got lost in the mail 3 times before we finally received them, which is why I didn’t include the link in the video. I had to reorder them each time too. A real headache. That said, I do absolutely love them. They are so useful for so many different activities. If you’d like the link I can definitely give it to you. Just wanted you to know about the shipping hassle first lol.
@@allhartI would also like the link for the little woven baskets. I have been hunting for something similar and cannot find a comparable. Thank you in advanced!
My daughter is 2 and my son is 5. I think the mandala pieces are something they can continue to enjoy for a long time. Especially because the mandala designs get more complex as they grow.
Thank you for this inspiring video! We have a lot of loose parts, too, but I love the way you present them on the table. Where are the number cards (for math activities with the beautiful rainbow background) come from?
This content is sooo good. Where did you buy the wide-tinker tray? Is that a Grapot product, too? If not, I want to know the brand. Where can I buy it? :) Your video has been uploaded for a long time, but I hope you get an answer if you see the comments :)
Hi Anna. They’re actually just utensil organizers that expand. I don’t recall the brand. But you can find a few different options through Amazon. I do have a Grapat branded trinket tray but it’s not as big. ❤️
Are you referring to the small brown wicker baskets? Those I actually found on Amazon a few years ago and don’t have a link. But I think you’ll be able to find them there ❤️
They’re the Grapat Tinker trays, a bit challenging to find in stock. And the larger ones are actually just wooden utensil holders. They worked perfectly for our Grapat display!
Recipe cards are from Etsy. I think I added the link to the FALL Open Ended Toys video ❤️ They’re our favorite cards to use but there are many others on Etsy to choose from.
I hate how ungodly expensive the mandala loose parts sets are 😓 we use a montessori reggio based homeschool approach (i know they are so different but it works amazingly for us! We just had to figure out what was right for us!) But yeah, we have loose parts galore and are needing more daily, we went through a gallon of corks last week building structures and doing process art, but i do have some non art loose parts and would love to add quality ones like these!!
I love the Reggio approach as well. And you are absolutely right. All children learn differently and it’s important to note that one approach may not work for a family completely and that it is ok to take on the aspects of other curriculums that you feel will benefit your children. It is why we incorporated some Waldorf into our curriculum along with Montessori. I would love to see what your Reggio loose parts set up looks like. I think the Grapat loose parts would add so much vibrancy and color to what you may already have. Thanks for writing ❤️
I found these toys off of Mercari which is a lot like EBay or Poshmark where resellers sell their items, as they were sold out of traditional online stores at that time. ❤️
@@allhart This video was just AWESOME!!! Your Grapat display is wonderful and I really enjoyed all the footage with your kiddos utilizing the Grapats. I have been struggling with a birthday gift for my niece who is turning two and the Grapats are perfect.

One of them is an actual Grapat tinker tray. I got it off EBay, as they’re sold out in most places. The other two matching wooden trays are actually drawer organizers. ❤️

I have all these items and saving them for Easter ! Can’t wait to take them out for my 2 year old, I am a bit worried for my soon to be 8 month old but I’ll supervise
