I LOVE GIANT DAYS TOO, almost all of these graphic novels are available on my library app so 👀👀. I think this is my first video of yours and I'm loving it! 💛💛 Okay, you might like Snapdragon- Kat Leyh, super cute middle grade and there's some really good conversations held in there😊
i've been getting more into graphic novels lately, and most of what i've been reading are atla comics, so these are very appreciated recommendations! i'll save it for later
Yayyyy I love graphic novel recs!! I really enjoyed giant days when I started it and I read the first volume of ghosted in LA the other day after watching your reading vlog and really liked that too so I can’t wait to read the others!!💖💖
I am 2 years late, but! I just wanted to say that if you haven't already, I really recommend getting into manga!!! It has been on the rise for the last few years, so more and more manga is getting translated and re-published in physical copies :)))
I love your list a lot. Thanks for it! Big fan of "Paper Girls" and "Giant Days" as well =) I am interested in all of your recommendations but I think I will start with "Ghosted in LA" 😊 ... we all should read more graphic novels!! ❤
This is a great video! I haven't heard of like half of these comics. Giant Days is one of my favorite comics too, it gets really wacky towards the end and I love it! Lumberjanes is another iconic comic about girl friendship and wacky paranormal adventures.
I have really been wanting to read more graphic novels. I am reading Saga now and really enjoying it, and have been wanting to pick up the Umbrella Academy. Paper Girls sounds super good as well and I may have to get that one too!
Never heard of bb free so i'll make sure to check that out! Also, I'm really glad to see all of these recs and add some of them to my pile ty 💛 (most of them i had already read or were already on my tbr)
I’ve been meaning to check out Paper Girls for a while, glad to see that you recommend it! Omg, Heavy Vinyl is so gooooood! I read it this month on scribd and it was so fun 🙌🏼 Added Giant Days to my list 😊
I’m currently reading the graphic novel series based on the Jim Henson movie labyrinth, it’s called coronation, it’s so good, I’m also reading the graphic novels based on avatar the last airbender called the search, it’s so good 😊
If you dig the color schemes of Paper Girls, you need to read Jem, and Jem and the Misfits. Also Slam...that one’s about roller derby. All three fot into your likes! Also, Archival Quality. Let me know what you think. I’ve literally read hundreds!
I've been wanting to read Heavy Vinyl foreverrr. Ghosted in LA is something I've been hearing about recently and the premise sounds hella cool! One of my fave graphic novels is Monstress written by Marjorie Liu and art by Sana Takeda. The art is INCREDIBLE though I do think it's a bit hard to follow at first. It might not be for everyone but I implore you to check out even just the covers!!
I’ve most of the comics on this list but I hadn’t heard of B. B Free so I’m grateful for that recommendation. Unfortunately I was never able to vibe with Giant Days. Volume 1 of Ghosted in LA is great. I kind of don’t vibe as much with vol 2 and 3 because a lot of it ends up kinda under developed but that might just be me.
Snap on that birth year. I'm really bad with comic and graphic novels, I'll always read the first volume, be really into it and then never get the second one, oops
These ones I am about to mention are slice of life graphic novels mainly comedy and romance here is the list 1. Blue Monday 2. Scooter Girl 3. Love & Rockets 4. Skim 5. New Romancer 6. Daytripper 7. Hopeless Savages 8. The Cute Girl Network
Today I found the best store ever (it’s called games comics and coffee and it’s in Chichester uk) it’s basically full of sooooo many comics and graphic novels it also has games and art supplies you can go in pick a game and go to the cafe in the back where you can get coffee/ drinks and play the game I couldn’t spend much time there today and I didn’t buy anything (to much choice) but ima go again and get some stuff and I’m sooooooooooooo exited
Loved the video! Might start reading graphic novels. Have u read the cruel Prince book want to read it but wondering whether its good would u recommend it? 💘
hey leo have u tried reading manga yet? it is basically the same thing as graphic novels just from right to left instead of let to right and some to get u started is death note and tokyo ghoul
i was watchting this and 3 min in and she recommended me three books and the first thing popped in my head was why all the three books talk about girls and what about the rest is it all about girls tho
