Thanks so much for making the vid! The Local search function has been fixed so you can now query with that function along with Global. I fixed a few more bugs and added more previews for the generated outfiles (parquet, graphml). Let me know if you run into anything else or have any suggestions for improvements
@severian42 i'm getting errors w/ global search: raise ApiKeyMissingError graphrag.config.errors.ApiKeyMissingError: API Key is required for Completion API. Please set either the OPENAI_API_KEY, GRAPHRAG_API_KEY or GRAPHRAG_LLM_API_KEY environment variable.
followed your instructions from the github repo re. graphml visualization, i get the error "Error visualizing graph: zero-size array to reduction operation minimum which has no identity"
The video you created is fantastic! It's been very helpful! However, I seem to be encountering some issues. I've run an Ollama instance using docker-compose and deployed a 7B model. Now, I've also deployed the GraphRAG Ollama UI, and it appears everything is running normally, including uploading an external knowledge base. But when I send a query, either local or global, I get an error: Error: [Errno 111] Connection refused. Do you have any good suggestions on how to resolve this?
If you index different documents at different point of time. We end up with multiple output folder. How should one do a search over all outputs. Like a production level application
@Fahd I am getting the error below after following you instructions and running a query. Any ideas on what is happening. I ran into the same issue running this without a UI. : File "C:\Users\14045\AppData\Roaming\Python\Python311\site-packages\pandas\io\common.py", line 882, in get_handle handle = open(handle, ioargs.mode) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'D:\GraphRAG-Ollama-UI agtest\output\20240715-151756\artifacts\create_final_nodes.parquet'
one of the two local or global ones always fails. Global is what you search for on the internet and local, right? And what makes this option that is directly different from the other two?
Global has nothing to do with the internet. Graph RAG creates a graph and clusters entities together using the Leiden algorithm. During indexing, a summary is made for each community. A global search will query community summaries (multiple ones) and summarize the results. Global and local in this case will not be a big difference because the size of the source document is so small.
