Melkveebedrijf Bosch aan het gras maaien met hun Case IH 195 CVX met getrokken Kuhn FC 352 G maaier en vanaf dit jaar ook met een Kuhn frontmaaier.
Even later gaan ze op dezelfde velden ook aan de slag met een andere nieuwe aanwinst, een New Holland T7550 met eveneens een getrokken Kuhn maaier.

A little later they also start working on the same fields with another new acquisition, a New Holland T7550 which is also using a trailed Kuhn mower.

Good catch Niels, very rare to see trailed mower with front mower over here, its either singular trailed or triples or doubles.

Thanks Tim. They used to only use the trailed mower with their previous tractors (as they didn't have a front PTO if I remember correctly), but now they have a tractor that has, so they also got a front mower, but kept the trailed mowers they already had. Makes opening up fields a lot easier.

Dank u. Hier zie je ze ook niet veel meer. Paar jaar terug nog wel wat van die brede getrokken maaiers (Pöttinger volgens mij), maar die zijn vaak ook al ingewisseld voor een normaal formaat maaier op de hef.

Grappig detail is, De Hoop heeft daar wel eens gras ingekuild bij die betreffende boer.

Thank you Alan. The reason why the grass isn't that long (at least, I think...) is because of the issues with the weather. It's been way too wet for too long, so too much water on the ground, not able to fertilize it, and then the moment it stays dry for 2 or 3 days they have to mow it before more rain comes again. A lot of crops (not just grass) aren't doing so well this year, maize for example is not so good, lot of grain wasn't very good either.

Thank you Niels. It's been different here in that we have had a lot of rain, but the grass loved it and grows like mad. My lawn, too!!
