Fun Fact: The boss shank at the end is name R-M80, which I think is to be played on the phrase “arrr, matey” playing on the pirate theme of the dungeon
Telling a gamer to look up is the equivalent of asking someone to look into the eyes of god. (Honestly I got lucky that I like to look up in the EDZ because I love the sky at night)
My Day One team and I just, I kept joking that this was "Three Idiots Try to Play Video Games", because we felt so stupid every time we assumed that something was a complicated af mechanic and instead, it was just, "look up". Bungie had too much fun with this and honestly, I respect them for that.
Me and my boyfriend 2 manned this dungeon blind with no idea what it involved, working everything out ourselves and it took nearly 4 hours to complete.. .. And we loved every second of it! The ogre and boss took about 5 phases as our loadouts werent exactly "optimal" as Datto Jr. would say lol But we took our time, used fun loadouts and loved every second of it! 😁
i also went in blind with my boyfriend and his friend and it was so much fun. we have always just watched videos for things like that but decided to figure it out ourselves. took us an hour and a half cuz we kept dying to the small traps 😂
That barrel that rolls down the ramp wiped my team the first time we did it. We got so excited that we forgot the whole dungeon was full of traps up to that point 😂
That overlay of Aztecross on Shaw was GOLD. My entire fire team had the same response when we realized what the servitor bombs were for and ALL of us were yelling when it basically rockets itself into the shield.
As someone who has solo flawlessed every other dungeon 5+ times and this one once (havent tried more than that yet), just remember... even if you die during the encounter but can still complete it, you can do it without dying. Even a failed FULL flawless run is a completed flawless encounter.
@@ShadowNova300 it just sucks with the time commitment. And because this one has a wipe mechanic, you can get to the sparrow part playing it safe but once you get there its super easy to screw up.
Buddy and I went in blind to this dungeon. I missed the first bit he did on his own and joined for trap time. Took us at least 4 hours and we finished on our decidedly final attempt at the final boss that day.
@@bennygerow I think they're saying because the loot cave was a D1 meme (tons of engrams) that they made into the main dungeon mechanic. While having some dialogue literally say "the loot cave."
As someone who optimizes everything, I really respect how you just use whatever you want. Forerunner and darkest before? Don’t mind if I do. Stasis warlock instead of well with lunafaction for DPS, yes please. It’s truly awesome!
