I’m 21…. Lucky enough to be raised on the dead and the doors never knew I was so blessed to be shaped and raised behind such a musical power… thanks mom and dad for the good taste and head on my shoulders I couldn’t of asked for more….
Hello from the u.k I have 2 sons now in their early 30s, both play bass guitar In various bands, for the last 20 years. My wife and I played the dead and the doors and quality stuff around the house when they were growing up. Like you they grabbed the torch and ran with it! Take care in these stupid times.
@@PurpleOldMaN It's amazing reading comments from two young men with their whole lives ahead of them, both aware of the great gift that is the Grateful Dead. Not everybody gets it. That being said, my joint is almost finished and I'm going for ice cream.
I was at that show; this first acoustic set was transplenant! I seem to remember they also did Silver Threads and Golden Needles. What a time we all had back in the day! Keep on truckin' my sisters and brothers!
Blessed to note listening tonight marks 50 yrs. to the day of GD magic. 2-22-1973 in Chambama, IL. Will never be able to explain it exactly other than with fellow Dheads. My life was changed that night. The dance never ends.
Would absolutely love to see Dead & Co bring this one back..one of the greatest songs that was played not nearly enough imo..Bobby does this so much justice..keeping my fingers crossed..much love, good health, and happiness, to all my fellow Dead fam..💀💨🎸🐅❤⚡💙🎶
@@gilthethrill9179 idk buddy, Wolf Bro's tickets are insane with prices..like $250 a ticket for nosebleeds..D&C is crazy too, but you can find $70 nosebleeds for them in certain venues..either way it's a lot different than when we were on Tour in the early 90's..I know Jerry wouldn't be happy with how things are today..miss Jerry every single day my brother..stay safe and if you're doing any of this summer's Final Tour, have a great time buddy..always Grateful..much love to you and yours..peace brother..🙏🫶✌🏻
I’m 66 and have seen the Dead and other bands around these musicians probably 50 times. Saw Bobby Weir last week with his new band at their first gig in Asheville 😊😊😊😊

Fortunate to see two sets at Madison Square Garden Oct 30 and HALLOWEEN (crazy costumes) 1980. Loved these acoustic sets and so great to hear them again.
True Romance to music is to keep the pasting living on beyond its own time , traditionally found and forever it may stay forever young at heart within the human relationship held together
It is a coal mine. They burn off the natural gas to avoid explosions. Later, they retained the natural gas. However, the main point is the money at the top reference. It refers is to the companies that own the mines. They get rich, while the miners stay poor.
Real music is almost gone if anyone notices what's being playing on Grammy awards or charts pure garbage.whats gonna happen when bobs gone.only band left I can go see live and enjoy is tool.
Check out goose, nolan Taylor, Billy strings, the string cheese incident. Lot of fun bands. Lot of fun dead cover bands around too. Keeping the dead alive
@@dougabernathy9748 remember how they were the only band that would let concert goers (DeadHeads) bring their tape recorders into the show, even set out a tapers section, & the Heads wouldn't be loud by the section... on Shakedown Street in the parking lot U could trade favorite show bootlegs. Bootlegs playing all over the lot... those shows live in the hearts of so many. Even Further, the Other Ones, the Dead, Dead & Company, Phil & Friends, Wolf Bros,... the Music Never Stopped, & The Dead never die. Let There Be Songs To Fill The Air! 🎵💜🎶(~);}🎶💜🎵
