Dive into the heartfelt journey of "Gratitude." This song was crafted during a therapeutic guitar group session led by Royal recreation therapist Ashleigh McGuinty and Ottawa musician and volunteer Michael Fahey. It emerged from a "gratitude graffiti" writing exercise in which clients in the Forensic Program collectively shared their personal reflections.
“Gratitude” is a tribute to the transformative power of music - fostering joy, camaraderie, and healing - which reminds us to be grateful for the simple things in life.
