@thatns4758 From what I remember all these remasters that are coming out are from someone at Narbetage Production's personal tape collection. And the quality of these source tapes are not good. You can tell they have been heavily used and worn. Also as for this apparent remastering process. All that happens is the whole album is ripped from these poor quality tapes and then put into a AI audio improvement software with a preset speed/pitch to possibly match an idea of what the original was (that's why you can hear it's almost sped up with these remasters vs. the originals.) And then basically just pumped out with new art work. This is actually just someone capitalizing off the current bsod trend that has come about because of social media and TikTok. So the dude who made this comment is right.
@@Akaroth Sources aren't always as bad, but NT has zero sense for audio quality, so he isn't able to rip his masters with proper settings, volume etc. No care if the track is missing parts, few seconds here and there, who cares. No care to correct any obvious mistakes from past issues. Most of these reissues sound like trash compared to originals from 25 years ago
Interesting and informative comment section , I hope i'm not the only one liking the shit sounding black metal , especially for Grausamkeit I find it as a part of its charm ... huge thanks for sharing as always it is most highly appreciated !
While I share the same sentiment regarding raw and noisy audio output, I can understand people are disappointed if the original recordings are supposedly cleaner sounding than the remastered versions. I don't have enough material of early BSOD (yet) to have an opinion about it, so I generally don't partake in the discussion
@@carcharadontus I do not own any of Grausamkeits material , that is one of the reasons I am so grateful to people like you that give us the opportunity to listen to such underground gems . I don't know if you are familiar with the channel NOISE IS FUNTASTIC but there he made some cleaning and remastering of the BSoDs works and I must say I enjoy the shittier quality stuff way more , but that is only my own shitty opinion :) The reason I found the comment section so interesting was actually the statement that it wasn't the authors choice for the recording to be in such quality , but in my honest opinion is that this is some of the main traits and charms of the project .Thanks once again for the quick respond and sorry for wasting your time on such topics I just wanted to make myself clear , cheers !

The complaints aren't about how "bad" the initial recording was done, it's about how the reissues apparently tend to have a worse sound than some of the original sources
@@EternalDamnation.official we're all used to shit quality, some people are just upset because of the minimal amount of effort put into these new reissues. they just rip good tapes in a shit manner, "remaster" it, throw a limiter on it and call it a day. its pathetic, lazy, and its a waste of resources.
has there been any work from him that was actually released recently and isn't just a rerelease of songs from 20 years ago? cause I'm starting to believe the rumors of him dying
@@splytrap So far as I heared from Sigfrid he's been in jail since 2022 and I found this article where (((most likely))) he had been jailed because he head butted a police officer while being drunk and also ressisted arrest, also what I had heared from Sigfrid is that he is super sad and depressed and he wishes to be left alone
