Starring with the red glow. Gold colored wheels. And the flashing of all the cameras around. He beat Big Foot. Later I met him at the track and he signed my colesium book. I still have that book to this day stored in a safe dry place with all the other Grave Digger items I collected. Unfortunately it has been quite some time since I saw him. I watch all the videos of him and still cant get enough. I plan on going with my wife to see him at a outside track. Cant wait...
I love grave digger iv been going to the Georgia dome to see them ever since I was 5 in 1991 back when they had a full row of cars and the trucks where real metal body's they even had a dragon that blew fire and picked up cars and ate them back when they had tractor pulls and all if any one remembers all that. its still fun to watch to.
i always love passing by his house and see grave digger sitting out in front. (tomball, texas) i stopped and talked to someone that was working on it once and got to look at everything up close and personal
Grave Digger and Big Foot, the two baddest monster trucks ever. Big Foot was definitely more legendary, but Grave Digger was no slouch. Grew up on those two.
@Thedeoradude Thanks! I thought it was familiar because of the shock setup. I'm only 13 but I like to think that I know a little bit about monster trucks. thanks for responding!
Alright I'm confused! Gravedigger has over 20 different trucks in all history past. Dennis favorite truck that he still drives in 2012 is digger #20. That truck has the XX in the front indicating 20. Also I have not seen a black chassis Grave Digger since the original. The shock setup, chassis, and color are different than average Grave digger driven on TV. Look at the list of trucks on Wikiapedia
Grave Digger the best! The first time ever I saw The Digger I was just a kid. I still remember it as the clearest memory. In the Coliseum in Ohio. He was going against Big Foot. The lights went out, all was quiet. Then the loudest engine I ever heard fired up and moved its way to the track. Still pitch black cannot see a thing except the roar of a fierce engine. The red headlights came on. I got chills. The lights came on and I saw Grave Digger. I was hooked. The paint was scary, the headlights
GOOOOOO GRAVEDIGGER!!! i liked this truck before i even new wut it was. i had the little matchboxcar version of it when i was 4. then i actually saw it race on tv once, ive been a fan ever since
Some of you's might be wondering why the chassie on this Digger is black? The reason is that this is Adam Anderson's (son of Dennis Anderson) Grave Digger The Legend truck, I can tell by the shocks on the truck. It just has a normal Grave Digger body on it here.
regardless of what racing league Bigfoot competes in, to say Grave Digger is the most legendary truck is debatable..dont get me wrong, i love them both, infact the reason i got into watching monster trucks was because of those 2 trucks, the rivalry they had back in the day should be brought back!! and id have to agree with you, id also love to see Runte race Meents or Anderson.
Anderson's first truck was a red 52 pickup mud bogger, then came the 1951 Ford panel truck that became the Grave Digger 1 monster truck. Doesn't matter if it was a model F1,F2 or F3. The only thing that was Ford was the body, Anderson has always ran Chevrolet engines in all trucks. Running Chevrolet engines and transmissions in classic Fords is very common.
grave digger is now my faverit but my all time and most iconic muster truck will always be BIG FOOT ....it was big foot that got me watching monster jam.
when i was young i mean like 4-9 this was my all time favorite!!!! i had tshirts and hats and little diecast models of this because its the best monster truck ever!!!! :D
I went to wikipedia to take a look at the history of monster trucks after I watched this, and noticed that the Grave Digger page uses The Onion as a source.
We just did a video interview with the Co-Owner of RaceSource, Inc. located in Tomball, TX! Got some great footage of Grave Digger too. Head over to our channel page to check out the video.
Bigfoot has been out of the public eye for many years while Grave Digger is in front of at least 30,000 people every weekend and is featured on Speed TV practically every day. Both trucks are awesome in their own right, but get Bigfoot back with Monster Jam already!
The Bigfoot trucks run independent events. They have been in a dispute with Feld since Feld was formed. They really need to settle their differences because it's pointless for the most popular monster truck to not run in the most popular monster truck series, especially now that the Hall Brothers have started racing in Monster Jam.
Ok, I'm not an expert with these, but can you tell me how many different Cohen chassis's are there, because the Cohen chassis found on the diggers XIX and XX are not like this one here that's for sure?
wow that was very well done n all the facts were there n everything that was awsome i loved it oo n grave digger started free style NOT BIGFOOT who ever said bigfoot sttared freestyle is WRONG bigfoot left monster jam cause of freestyle he didnt like it n other reasons bigfoot left but thats besides the point but this piece was awsome GO GRAVE DIGGER !
What's interesting is the actual chassis in this video is Adam Anderson's Grave Digger The Legend. So, a slight fail on this despite the fact that the original Grave Digger was a black chassis. Guess dad needed to borrow the son's for one night HAHA.
@ 1:18 perhaps, you can pretend to add "and finally, the trademark neon-green painted roll cage".....but unfortunately it doesnt seem to be on this one.
Been a big fan of Anderson's and Digger since the 80's when he ran the 51 Ford. That said, I'm not a fan of Monster Jam, most if not all trucks are owned by Feld Entertainment. As far as the MJ world finals go, how do you have a "World" finals without Bigfoot. As well as other trucks such as Raminator.
