Having grown up in the 1950s and '60s, I can never get enough of this 'Wild West' info. Westerns ruled the t.v. and theaters in my day and most of us kids were fascinated by it all. I'm glad I've lived long enough to find all this info on RU-vid.
It is very cool to make an episode to explain the history of Wyatt's younger brother...most are just about Wyatt, so this was a refreshing change. Thank you!
This is interesting! I’ve always wondered about family / siblings of super famous historical figures. It’s easy to forget they also lived full lives - it’s easy to brush them under the wings of the famous family member.
Come up to Portland Oregon to River View Cemetery where Virgil Earp is buried. There’s a bunch of notable graves there. Henry Weinhard the famous beer brewer and a couple actors. Senators and governors. Huge monuments where I can only assume they were attempting to show who had the most money at the time of death? Lol several outdoor rod iron door private mausoleums. There’s a 4 story mausoleum with an elevator there to! It’s a huge cemetery. Maybe not as big as some in California but I’m sure a million or more total graves.
Great questions! They never had any children. Louisa went back to California, eventually remarried, and sadly died in 1894 at the age of 39 (I believe it was kidney disease).
