Grave of RICHARD LEWIS & Why He Is BURIED In Minnesota!

I saw him in Baltimore about 10 years ago. He was hilarious, and we got to meet him after the show. He couldn't have been nicer and took pictures with everyone. Thanks for sharing.

Richard was exactly the same person he portrayed to the public. He followed my mother and I out of the Chataeu Marmont down Sunset Blvd for blocks commiserating on his and my problems in life. I didn't tell him I recognized him, my mom didn't know him, he was a down to earth lovable guy.

Oh, wow! That cemetery is right across the street from where my Mom is buried at Elmhurst Cemetery! I grew up in that area on Iowa St until I was about 8 years old.

This was a lovely memorial/tribute to Richard Lewis. He was a gifted comedian and absolutely brilliant in 'Curb' with Larry David - don't know how the two of them managed to keep a straight face. Great to see Jah! Many thanks Jordan, Katie & Jah - another brilliant vlog.

Hi Jordan! Thank you so much for this video! I live in a suburb of St. Paul (Woodbury area) and I was floored to see that Richard Lewis was buried here in Minnesota! I loved him in “Robin Hood: Men in Tights”! Yes, that mole was hysterical! I think he wanted to be buried in Minnesota just to be closer to Tiny Tim! 😂. I will miss his amazing humor! RIP Richard Lewis. ❤️

Jah, looked healthy. Glad he is okay. Regarding the aging process and the deaths of so many movie stars and comedians, when you are a child you have not lived long enough to see people go through the aging process. I am 63 years old and it feels like a shock to my system to see once vibrant people become frail, lose their beauty and leave this earth. We are losing all the great talents. Sad to watch.

He more than held his own in Robin Hood: Men in Tights. He was funny in that as the rest of the cast.

Great to see all three of you folks out on a road adventure together. I had no idea about Richard Lewis... Maybe I saw him do stand-up on late night TV in the late '70s/early '80s. What a nice man! I'm sorry I didn't appreciate him more than I did...

I met Richard Lewis years ago when I was working in an off strip property in Las Vegas. He was so nice and was surprised I knew who he was a very humble person.

Saw Richard in DC with a wild girl, 1988ish. I was more of a Kinison fan then but it was a very good show. I didn't know he had passed and it reminded me of Charles Bronson and why he is in VT.

Richard will not have a gravestone until February 27th 2025, Jewish people wait a year before they put on the grave stone

I went to a f1rst Wrestling show there in 2019ish. First thing I thought was there was another Temple of Aaron? But then saw it was the one in Minnesota. How cool!

One of my best friends has done interviews with Richard countless times on his radio show through the years. Richard was always great on his show and just a great guy. That same friend told me the day the news broke of Richard’s passing, he had been trying to get Richard back on to do a interview for while but Richard had to keep postponing because he had so many health problems and surgeries he was dealing with. But Richard always told him once he got better he would love to come on again! I believe Richard’s last text to my friend was a little over a month before he passed! And for those of you who are Billy Joel fans. Billy Joel has mentioned Richard in two of his Classic songs! Billy Joel and Richard Lewis have been friends going way back! Billy Joel said he was referring to Richard in the song 'My Life' with this line: "of an old friend who “Closed the shop, sold the house, bought a ticket to the West Coast/Now he gives them a stand-up routine in L.A.” Billy Joel also references a person in his “Piano Man” song based on Richard Lewis. Thank you for this vlog Jordan! Richard Lewis was a Comedy legend! But overall just a great person thad left a positive impact on everyone he met! Rest in Peace Richard Lewis!

I know 1 person from Minnesota. Tom Zenk. He was Z-man on WCW. He made it longer than my other wrestler friends but died not that long ago. Nice to see Jah & Katie.

I don't know if you knew this before but if you come to the Twin Cities again. Visit Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. I love the idea that Hubert H. Humphrey and Paul Wellstone are buried in the same place as Tiny Tim. Tiny Tim lived out the last years of his life here and kind of the same situation where he had married a Minnesotan woman.

I had no idea he was buried here! I wonder if he’ll get his headstone after February. If is like this past winter, they could place it then, but if it’s a more normal winter, there could be a foot or so of snow on the ground all nicely packed.
