This track may very well be THE PINNACLE of what made '90's Hip Hop so timeless and important. My words don't even do it justice...almost 30 years later and it holds up like Pink Floyd does for '70's Rock.
I remember playing these guys along with Metallica, RATM, Dre, 2Pac, Pantera playing darts and getting drunk in my best friend's garage.....best of times!!!
90's hip is so fucking important to me and my memories I can't explain how deep the 90's sound and feel is to I want to re-live it over and over again it is DEEP
Can remember being 15 with the big boys rolling in a 79 cutlass supreme bumping this shit with his kicker just cruising around up to no good..Great Song.. Damn now I'm 35 holyshit
@@ignacio1200 its good that we have to suffer less, but the inspiration for many rappers is gone aswell as the required skill to become one, many "rappers" shouldnt be reffered to as rappers, rather mumblers or whatever.. hip hop artists, but not rappers
Same with rave but most of the samples came from hip hop. Death metal lyrics are BRUTAL, if you can understand them, it takes a year or so then all of a sudden, holy spirit! What the actual fuck did they just say?!
Steve Olson's part in Shotys "Full fill the dream" First skate video!! My fist skate video I seen and it changed my life! still my all time favorite video part FOR LIFE!!
Hell yeah brother that video had such an influence on me as a skater and music junkie…Gravediggaz, Gang Starr, Company Flow…shit even Cat Stevens. Fulfill the Dream definitely changed my life
People don’t understand that Wu Tang era of rap was different you had to be alive they took over no matter what ppl wanna say just let Meth being on Big & Pac’s album be a hint cuz they wasn’t on their albums even Shyheim was all over the place
man this song hitz and i can still hear the rockford amps banging the box in my 93 jetta (like 90% of my trunk was the box 👽👽)you couldnt get the box outta the trunk ,the place built it so it could only be remove with back seats popped down flat .god dayum the 90s were gravy.
i love sbdm (slamming brutal death metal) which is all based on groove, and bangers like this has had so much influence on it imo. not only the horror lyrics, but the inability to not move your head to it. there’s a few bands that even do hip hop beats in their intros because of how groovy they are.
Yesteryear scares me, it makes me very upset and it is my energy. To know the face of the enemy, king of kings president of presidents, lord of lords. Bori's
I thought they were new.... then when gza chimed in I was like "what the bloodclaat?" Those shaolin beats herald the arrival of the kings, stacking bodies like cord wood.
I used to have cassette tapes this was my 1st CD I bought and I played the shit out of this album and I used this cd case to block the light on my alarm clock. Lmfao
