Russia has begun one of the most significant ground attacks on Ukraine. In the last six days, Russian troops have managed to capture at least 12 new Ukrainian settlements. While Kharkiv is the new flashpoint, Russia has also captured at least one settlement in Southern Zaporizhzhia, Russian troops are also bombing towns and villages across Ukraine. Is Zelensky staring at a defeat?

Yeah, right. The truth is Ukraine stopped the Russian offensive. Russia has a lot of artillery and troop concentration just inside Russia close to the Ukrainian border and Ukraine may get permission from the ZUS and England to strike them with long range missiles. Ukraine may get permission because they are military targets and Russia is using artillery to strike civilian targets. If Ukraine hits those targets in Russia the Russian offensive will be out on a limb without air and artillery support.

@@ericp7129are you sure? They destroyed the Taliban and removed them from power in December 2001, same year they invaded that country. Removed Al Qaeda and killed Bil Laden. Afghanistan did not defeat the allies, they just grew tired of defending a country that was not interested in defending itself against those Islamic terrorists.

Ukraine is only withdrawing to more advantageous strategic positions. Some of these advantageous positions are in Poland, Germany and in other noisy NAT0 countries, certainly not in Ukraine proper.

I am aganist war. But this war could have been avoided if Ukraine did not take initiative to join NATO. Putin is a dictator, but there are many other dictators with whom the West has no problem with. If Putin is a dictrator that is Russia's problem. not ours. So I am with Russia on this.

If Ukraine need new troop, what happen to the 600 thousand troops? Even his equipment count is very low. Russian is night vision with small drone taking out night supply. Everything going wrong for Ukraine. More fast train civilian don’t have the experience or anger to ground fight more than experienced, they was backing up experienced ukrain troop. It’s what happens when you make emotional decisions. It’s about learning to kill a humans for the first time without hesitation. Whether or not Zelensky is facing defeat, only time will tell. What Zelensky is facing, is the ghost of Henry Kissinger making his famous statement: If you are an enemy of the US it is dangerous but if you are an ally of the US it is fatal. I hope Ukraine comes out well from this conflict, but hope is only called upon when shit hits the fan and hope is rarely helpful.
