In Zhenjiang province, Jack Ma’s home, the entrepreneurs made a lot of money and sometimes a bit too much for the communist party’s liking. Entrepreneurs in the region were often arrested sometimes for very long. It is said that these entrepreneurs despite being billionaires would still carry a toothbrush and some toothpaste whenever they went for a meeting with the CCP party members so that in the event of an arrest they’d atleast have a toothbrush while locked down. My point is that despite the Chinese being hardworkers their system and government continues to fail them or crush them. Jack too will eventually fall. I’ve been following him as a kid and even now and read several books about alibaba and how it became a huge company and about its values. Unfortunately, the company isn’t the same without Jack ma as CEO.

Not exactly accurate: Ant Financial's public IPO was cancelled approx Nov 1-2. Alibaba's Taobao platform sale of 11.11 was on Nov 11. They are not related; one does not compliment the other. They are separate entities under the Alibaba umbrella. This is not a cause and effect.
