Thanks for this. I have 3 Science toons and they all have near identical builds for EPG. Going to try building around this bully boy drachen fire epg charger.
I was gonna try that combo when I got the ships, but the console The Dragonsblood Flame tooltip read Fire Damage each sec for 15 sec to up to 5 foes within a 50 deg 5 km and the Graviton Displacers tooltip said Foes within 6km so i didn't bother.
Nice idea, to bad it get outperformed by most build Typs and if a not so dmg strong player use that tactic there mostly pull the enemy’s away from the better players and make the work harder, uncon would work great in it. The 500epg doesnt matter alone epg is only a part of the cat1 sum and if you would give the cat summs and explain how there summs get together and why you chose to. Dumping the EPG number in is a false friend for everybody who didn’t know how the game calculates the dmg. Next point the graviton pulls stronger but didn’t have the range I would say place a GW with psychological warfare to do it quicker, than you can take the enemy’s out with the displacer or keep it in how you prefer and then punche the dragons breath Funfact: if you bind dragon’s breath on a single key and spam in the Right Beat the light of it gets brighter with every reactivation try, if it does more dmg I didn’t tested
I'm quite positive there are builds that can outdo the damage from this build, but my current record is 658k. The point of the build is not the highest DPS, but going for fun and I really enjoy flying this build beyond the damage output. Certainly, an inexperienced player can really mess up the team with this build, but so could they with any number of other consoles or abilities. As far as the stats of the ship and the gear, I intentionally didn't go into great detail, but rather provided a link to the full build and details on our website. There are plenty of content creators that make a video explaining the entire build, while my purpose is to foster creativity in the game rather than cookie-cutter max DPS builds. The Graviton Displacer certainly doesn't have the range of the Gravity Well, but as I stated, it is a much stronger pull than a Gravity Well. This build does also have a GW3 on the build, but wasn't the focus of this video. The reason you see Dragonsbreath getting brighter is that the animation doesn't cancel out when the ability cancels out, and if you spam it, you are triggering the animation multiple times but not actually the damaging portion of the ability, so it is merely a visual bug. Thank you for the interaction and feedback!
@@Ghost_in_the_machineworks Yep, EPG boosts dragonsbreath, as does Engine and Aux power. See our full writeup on it here: www.reddit.com/r/stobuilds/comments/161kl8e/revisiting_exotics_21_advanced_amps_and_the_magic/
